No one seems to talk about it, though, unless someone else brings it up. I don't know if people feel guilty or what, but the weight you'll feel fly off your shoulders while you're waiting is fucking wonderful. Felt it the second time, too.

I'm still at least 3 weeks from being fully vaxxed though. I'm not breathing any sighs of relief or taking the mask off or licking any doorknobs until the 2nd dose is in my system fucking up Covid germs like the cops in The Raid movies. That'll be after five weeks. Two weeks after your second shot, which should occur three weeks after your first. I'd say "good luck," but you really don't need it.

Jab #2 scheduled for 5/18. No side effects yet but it’s only been 4 hours since the shot, not even arm soreness.

Almost 24 hours later and still no side effects besides a sore arm and feeling dead fucking tired by around 10:30 last night. Today my arm is still a little sore but that's it. Hopefully the 2nd shot is this easy.

Hopefully the 2nd shot is this easy. It probably won't be. But I had it worst than most (allergic reaction and every side effect in the book), and it honestly wasn't all that bad.

I generally hear people who had covid tend to feel their first more than the second. And those who haven't have a shitty second shot reaction. But that's just word-of-mouth so, YMMV. I had it and my first shot was rough. Second was almost nothing at all except soreness in my shoulder. Maybe a little delayed lethargy and fatigue but nothing major. If you're able, take the day off after your second. And if you feel nothing, go out and get yourself somethin' purty.

Yesterday was Pfizer #2, and today I feel like I got hit by a truck. Low fever (100.1 last I checked) but really bad muscle aches all over. Left arm where the injection went in feels like a stab wound.
Plan for the day is Tylenol, Gatorade, and Kurt Russell movies.

Sound about right. Hopefully today was good for you, except maybe the shoulder still.

That fucker kicked my ass. Fever the night of the shot and part of the next day, then muscle aches for another 24 hours after that. Shot was Tuesday afternoon and even with ibuprofen the muscle pain kept me awake most of Wednesday night. By Thursday most of the symptoms had gone away but I was exhausted and felt like I'd lost a fight with a gorilla. I don't regret a bit of it though.

So I went to Lowes on Saturday and they're the first place around me that has removed the mask requirement. It was really odd seeing people walk around without them. A couple still kept their masks on, and it took me a couple of minutes to remove mine. Once I did, I felt oddly naked and kind of giddy at the same time. I guess I didn't realize how much I want things to get back to normal.

I'm pretty sure the next move for the anti-vaxtards is to claim the vaccines were developed to specifically target patriots and spread covid to kill the unvaccinated among us in order to create a MarxistSocialistCommieLibtopia. So their response will be to scream for a vaccine against the vaccine.
