This is the same Superman that nailed Lois back in Superman II then mind wiped her so she didn't remember anything about it. Yeah such a good guy. Kevin Smith made a good point. When she realizes that the kid is Superman's why isn't she pissed off and accusing him of date rape?
I liked Kevin Spacey as Lex though. Shame he didn't get the part in a better Superman movie.

That plane rescue scene is one of my favorite scenes in any of the last 2 decades of superhero movies. As a whole Superman Returns might not be that great, but the plane rescue is so good it works outside of the rest of the movie. It takes everything that makes Superman a great character and puts it all in those 5 minutes. It's a fantastic scene that the rest of the movie doesn't live up to, just like the funeral scene in BvS comes out of nowhere and doesn't match with the version of Superman in that movie.

Except the fact that Lois gets thrown all over the plane but when Supes walks in the plane her hair is perfect.

New Justice League trailer came out yesterday...
Maybe I'm just in a bad mood, but that looks like shit. "YAYYUH!" "My man!" Ugh. I fucking hate dudebro Aquaman.
As much as I'd love to see a good JL movie, this looks like another BvS but with dumber jokes.

Not very promising. And, yeah, how can a dude who lives in the ocean look like the dirtiest biker to ever live? Even sleazier than Anthony Kiedis in Point Break.

It doesn't look good to me, either. I appreciate that they smile occasionally, and I appreciate that someone appears to have heard Patton Oswalt rant about what Aquaman should be in these movies (a funny, big brawling pirate captain-type, almost like Quint in Jaws and followed through with it, although that might have been the one thing that worked a little better before the reshoots, but I am still very far from impressed or excited. Bowie's "We can be heroes" is also way fuckng better than Bono's version.

Meh I liked the opening with Superman but the rest was just the same shit from the last one. But I'd rather get a weak trailer than a trailer that spoils the whole movie like every one for Dawn of Justice did.
Plus this Aquaman makes me think of Brave and the Bold Aquaman and that's a good thing. Even if he seems a bit more exaggerated in this.

So Zachary Levi is apparently going to play Captain Marvel, I mean Shazam. I liked Chuck as much as the next nerd, but I'm not sure he's right for it. He's going to need a shitload of steroids and to work out for like a year to look the part. Normally I'm not a "the character in the movie needs to look exactly like the comic book" guy, but I think it's pretty important to the character that he's all stupid huge.

Rotten Tomatoes is delaying releasing its score for Justice League until Thursday. Warner Bros owns Rotten Tomatoes' parent company. Corporate media consolidation sucks.

Remember that prick that was on here a few years ago insulting you and saying Rotten Tomatoes was conspiring against WBs because Man of Steel had 59% or something? He got banned, right?

I don't remember that...
But I did (and still do) really like Man of Steel. Is this the part where I find out I was a dick to people in 2013 because that movie got a "rotten" RT score?
EDIT: Shit that sounded paranoid. This fucking week sucks.

I watched Man of Steel again yesterday and I still love it. Those fucking fight scenes man. So epic.
If I walk out of theater after seeing JL Friday afternoon as happy as I was when I was when I saw MoS then I'm calling it a win. I just hope that since it's only 2 hours they didn't cut too much of the movie out.

Man of Steel feels like a great first movie in a trilogy, where by the end of the third movie he's become SUPERMAN, the inspirational figure that all of humanity can rally around. That's the story I wanted after MoS, instead of a crappy sequel that made Superman a supporting character in his own movie and a Justice League movie where (I'm assuming) Superman doesn't show up until the very end.

I know what you mean. I was sooooo hoping for a sequel with Brainiac or Metallo or Bizarro or Billy Zane in a mechsuit but instead we got another goddamn Batman movie that happened to have Superman a couple of times. What kills me the most is now they're not gonna do a Death of Superman movie because they had to shoe-horn it in at the end of Dawn of Justice. I'll admit that I still like DoJ for the most part but holy shit did they fuck up.
A few people have told me that while he's not in it as much as everybody else (obviously) when he does finally appear it's oh so satisfying. I'm going to guess that in a 2 hour movie he'll appear in the last 30-45 minutes. It sucks sure but I can't wait to see him show up and clean house like he does at the end of the first Injustice game.

One JL review I read made no secret that Superman is in the movie (without giving any details, just that he's in it), but also mentioned that the CGI they used to remove Henry Cavill's mustache is distracting at times. His character in Mission Impossible 6 has a mustache, and that movie was filming the same time as the JL reshoots. I think it's hilarious that they spent who knows how many thousands of dollars to digitally remove his mustache when "Let's glue a fake mustache on this guy's face" is one of the oldest theatrical tricks in the world.

I've heard that too and yeah it makes no damn sense but for some ridiculous reason Paramount wouldn't let him shave the mustache off. I'm chomping at the bit to see some set pics of Superman with a porn stache though.

Cyborg looks like complete shit though. That whole scene looks like something from a TV show.

From what I understand Cyborg changes throughout the movie and looks more like he does in the comics by the end. Pretty much like he did in the JL War animated movie.
Fuck it. For anyone that cares SPOILERS AHOY!!!
Flash's reaction was priceless. The second you see Superman's eyes lock onto him you know some shit's about to go down. And of course there's the confrontation with Batfleck. Yeah look what you did you colossal asshole.
Still confused about how they'll explain Clark being alive again though. In the comics they said he was trapped under ruble after the Doomsday fight but they've pretty much fucked themselves here.

Sounds like folks should stick around for the mid-credits scene because it's great, but leave after that because the post-credits scene is stupid and has an unintentionally hilarious line of dialogue.
