Honestly what I'm thinking.. really debating thinning out my single issue collection. Its going to be a bitch to move down.. either in my car and take up space/weight or cost almost 100 to ship it... and honestly, I like the look of trades more than single issues just sitting in a box. May get the first five as single issue, not too sure

As for Necro's Top Five question, be hard to say, due to me not having a huge pull list to begin with. Most of what I'm getting are short runs - aka Superior Carnage and Sandman Overture. So I guess with me its a top three. Just finished getting this last story arch of Deadpool, then cutting that as a pull as well.
1: Red Lantern - did just cut getting the single issues though 2: Guardians Of The Galaxy 3: Afterlife With Archie

Red Lanterns is a pretty decent read (Zox cracks me up), but yeah, I'm gonna drop back to trades on that one. Since I didn't start it until #8 and picked up the first trade, I'm considering getting the rest of the trades and selling/trading the singles. Same with Demon Knights and Animal Man.

I read the first Animal Man trade and loved it. Too bad it's getting the axe. Too strange for mainstream readers I guess. I haven't read any Transformers since DW and Don Figueroa. Is he working for IDW at all?

Wow, Moon Knight by Warren Ellis? I'll have to check that out. Guardians Of The Galaxy is in my pull list, too, but not in my top five.

All I've read recently is Batman: The Dark Knight (two trades in) and Arkham Unhinged which I'm pretty sure is done. Both are solid though. I'll probably be adding All New Ghost Rider soon but I doubt I'll go with single issues. It's too big a pain in the ass around here. No comic shops and all.

Is he working for IDW at all? Animal Man is good stuff. Don Figueroa was working with IDW for awhile, but I'm not sure where he is now. I highly recommend both ongoing TF titles (More Than Meets The Eye & Robots In Disguise). Both came out of the previous monthly series, and have taken different paths, but have come back together for the current story arc. The personality the writers have brought to these robots is great. Always a fun read.

Finally finished the 75 issues of the Green Arrow run kicked off by Kevin Smith all the way back in 2001, and it was fantastic. Definitely an all-time favorite character and series.

Borrowed the first five volumes of Chew from a friend and I just can't get into it. There's no story, the main character is a cypher, and the art style isn't my cup of tea. The comedy is the one-note "grindhouse movie" title variety that hardly ever illicits a chuckle from me. I will say that although the art isn't my favorite, it's not bad. It's actually pretty damn good. But I just don't like that style. Like, at all. Way too cartoony for me.

I read half of the first volume way back when it first came out and decided it wasn't for me back then. My friend bought vols 1-5 recently and wanted me to read them, so I figured I'd give it another shot. Meh.

Just read Moon Knight #1 from Marvel NOW I like that NOW is just kind of a reboot/return of certain characters that does negate the past issues and actual is a jsut a continuation of each story. This one was great with thw exception of Spectors costume. He now wearing and all white business suit with a full head mask. I like the cowl better. This suit is cool, but doesn't beat the classic. There were some great one-liners in it too. "Ive died before. It was boring, so I stood up."

Picked up vols 2&3 of the Smallville Season Eleven trades and for a show I thought ranged from meh to pretty good these are fun to read. Vol 2 with Batman was a classic Superman/Batman first team-up all around and would have been great to see on TV but never happend.

Wait until you see the one with the bird skull mask/helmet thing in issue #3: www.usatoday.com/story/life/2014/03/04/warren-ellis-moon-knight-comic/5836581/It seems issue #4 will feature a "mushroom death god". Could be awesome. Weird shit. Sadly, the usual Diamonds fuckery has lead to me not getting a copy. Maybe next week. The reviews have been quite positive so far. I want those Sienkiewicz and Granov variants something fierce.

I haven't seen it all, and "meh to pretty good" sums it up perfectly, but I enjoy catching it every now and then. Is their Batman younger or is Clark grown up enough at this point that he doesn't need to be?

I still watch it every once and a while myself. It certainly had it's problems but I like to think that it made the way for Arrow and the upcoming Flash series. In the story Bruce is the same age as Lex I think and has been Batman since before Clark was "the Blur" (god that was so stupid). His suit's a bit different but it's still cool. The biggest change I think though is Barbara is Nightwing instead of Dick. Anyway here's the cover.

Barbara as Nightwing sounds much better than Barbara paralysed.

Yeah I was okay with it. The cover is different artwork than the actual story art though. Still a fun read especially since it's what I wanted to see on Smallville for 10 goddamn seasons.
