It's Red Hulk though not Hulk. I think Hulk wears dumb armor now. Yeah, what the shit is that about? Hulk needs armor like Superman needs a jetpack.

He's been wearing armor for awhile now, no? Haven't really followed Hulk, outside of Planet Hulk and the Hulk vs dvds

I've heard something about it's for protecting Banner when he's not Hulk but he seemed just fine all the years before they stuck him in it. I guess it's the new trend for costumes these days. Look at all the armored suits in the DCU. I guess there's a reason I don't read a lot of modern comics anymore.

It's even dumber than when they gave him a giant gun in the 90s.

It's even dumber than when they gave him a giant gun in the 90s. And bunny slippers! When I made my custom PS3 theme a few years back, I did a Marvel theme (still using it) and had to include gun-bunny Hulk in there somewhere. Can't recall what he's the icon for at the moment though. Something stupid to be sure.

Phil Hester's work on Green Arrow was really fantastic. I love his use of black.

Still, Hulk is a character that can drop-kick the moon. He doesn't need a gun. Or armor.

Ugh. I remember when that Hulk showed up in a Ghost Rider comic I've got. He's on his way to a wedding or something and runs into Vengeance for some dumb reason.

Oh yeah. It's been a slow day. Although it'd make more sense than 90s turd Hulk running into him.

I just read Serenity: Leaves on the Wind #1. It's glorious. Great artwork, and an excellent script with some surprising allusions to current events. I was gonna wait for the trade, but my willpower can't hold out that long for more Firefly. We're lucky to get a single issue story with these characters once every few years, so for them to do a full-blown 6 issue miniseries is a BFD, and the next best thing to a Firefly Season 2 ongoing series.

Just read issue 1. Pretty good stuff. Dynamite Entertainment is quickly becoming my favorite comic company.

Just finished the first trade for East of West. Good stuff. Never read any Hickman before Secret, but now that I've read Infinity and East of West, my opinion of the guy's stuff keeps improving. He really knows how to hook ya.

I agree. I had actually read his run on Secret Warriors, though and I highly recommend that if you liked Infinity. With Locke & Key wrapped up and off the stands, East Of West is now my favorite currently running comic. It's barely above The Walking Dead, though.
Speaking of which, what's everyone's favorite currently running comic series? Top five?
Mine:
1. East Of West 2. The Walking Dead 3. Morning Glories 4. Superior Spider-man 5. Saga

A top 5 would be tough. Lemme see....
1. Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye 2. Swamp Thing 3. Transformers: Robots In Disguise 4. Animal Man (this book is getting the axe from DC in a couple more issues) 5. Walking Dead ( I don't collect it monthly, just the trades)
East of West may wriggle it's way into the top 5 by the time the second trade hits the stands. I'm dropping the 2 other titles I read ( Aphrodite IX & Red Lanterns) and am considering just picking up the trades as they come out. That'll be 3 books gone of my list (including Animal Man) in about 2 more months. I'm running out of new stuff to read! Seriously though, I think I'm gonna pick up the new Moon Knight series, plus there are a few Image books I'm gonna look into.
