Does that mean the whole new 52 thing that I'm just getting into was a waste or is it other titles being reset?

They're going back to regular New 52 numbering next month. The #0 issues were meant to introduce new characters (like the new Green Lantern that carries a gun for some reason) or tell stories set earlier in the timeline of the new continuity.

Ah ok, was told that they were starting back at 0's again and was confused to hell, this makes better sense

They should just start at 0 again, and never make another issue that isn't numbered 0. EVERY ISSUE FOREVER IS #0.

I just preordered the complete set of all 9 covers for Walking Dead #100. All 9 for $20. I don't usually buy variant covers, but when I do I prefer The Walking Dead. Hahaha I need to work that phrase more into my life. Think I will try it on my next sales call. "You may not always buy industrial goods, but when you do, I prefer you buy mine."

Just picked up Happy #1, Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson's new series. So far, dunno what to think of it. It's about a hitman who starts to see a little girl's imaginary friend, which is a feathery blue horse. Happy claims that only the hitman can save the little girl and the hitman is convinced he's going crazy.
Also got the latest Before Watchmen issues and the ones that I didn't think were off to a great start are getting better.
Thief Of Thieves is a really awesome comic so far. Anyone who hasn't read it yet should get into it soon! I wasn't sure if a heist-based comic would make much sense but it's turning out to be REALLY good.
Capullo's Joker redesign is pretty meh so far. The highlight of the issue to me was actually the backup story about him and Harley.

I picked up "Happy" as well. I had no idea what it was about, but the names Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson sold me.
And I'll need to go back and count, but that comic might have set the record for most f-bombs in a single issue not written by Garth Ennis.

Same here. I had no idea what it was about and had only just heard about it the day before on Comingsoon.net saying that it was greenlighted for a movie.
And the F-bombs kinda bothered me because it seemed like he was only trying to break a record.

Last week I picked up "Batman: The Court of Owls" hardcover, and HOLY SHIT it's good! By far the best thing I've read from DC's silly New 52 stunt, and maybe the best Batman story I've read since "Hush". Just really, really great. You all should read it. There's a really cool part where the bad guys are using some hallucination chemical on Batman, and the layout of the book gets all weird and disorienting, with sideways and upside down pages. Very clever.

Batman has been great. There are a few gems in the New 52. I've been reading Batman, Justice League & Earth 2. I'm enjoying them all so far.
Anybody have any recommendations on comics, outside Marvel & DC? I need to read up on Thief of Thieves.

Saga, yes.
Also:
Locke And Key - simply and truly one of the best comics I've ever read. Ever.
Morning Glories - Very fun cliffhanger-heavy sci fi mystery.
Scalped - Also one of the best comics I've ever read. The most realistic characterization both in terms of writing and art.

I'd also recommend "Crossed". It's a good survival horror story, as long as you don't mind some seriously fucked up shit.
It makes "The Walking Dead" look like an R.L. Stine book.

^ Good goosebumps? I just read some reviews. WOW. I don't think Crossed is for me. Not my style. Morning Glories & Locke & Key sound good though.

I'm thinking about maybe getting the big "Avengers vs X-Men" hardcover when it comes out next month. Amazon has it for a pretty hefty discount.
Anybody read that series? Is it any good? I haven't really read anything from Marvel since "Siege", and now I'm started to get bored of DC...

Hey, I stopped reading Marvel after Siege, too. I just can't spend that much money on comics any more, so I put all my comic funds towards the books that need my money and they ain't Marvel. My plan is to wait for the trades now, but I haven't bought a trade for a while either.

Got some good books this week. I picked up "A-Babies vs X-Babies", a one-shot with baby versions of the Avengers fighting baby versions of the X-Men, because baby Cyclops stole baby Cap's doll. It's awesome. I also got the hardcover collection of the "Spaceman" miniseries by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso. Those guys are probably the best collaborative team in comics, so anything they do together is worth reading. This one is a sci-fi story and a huge departure from "100 Bullets", but it's still great.

Just finished Avenger vs X-Men. It was good, not great. Worth the read, especially since it sets up everything else thats happening now. Cyclops steals the show. Uncanny Avengers #1 was really good. Glad to see Red Skull back.

I ordered the "AvX" hardcover from Amazon yesterday. I haven't read any of the lead-up to it, but I'm looking forward to reading it. The batch of writers and artists is really impressive.
