I frikkin love that Trakk. I always assumed it was a statue and not a figure, but if it was a figure it would've been one of the best ever.

Though i never actually collected the Simpsons figures, I always enjoyed looking at them. But at least that line had a great run. Same here.

Were there ever plans for a second series and beyond for the Saturday Night Live line by Xtoys?

What a shame...this was such an awesome set. It made no sense to slot these four in as series 2 and release the crap they did for series 1. Well ok, to be fair, Aries and Cancer weren't THAT bad...but Gemini and Taurus sucked. I always wondered something...how the hell does she keep her tits from popping out of that costume? Bad....ass! I would have bought the shit out of this one! The Horsemen were cool looking figures, but Pestilence strikes me as odd. Death? Grim Reaper-y figure with a scythe, check! War? Cyborg with huge weapons and robot horse, check! Famine? Skinny ass creepy scarecrow lookin' motherfucker, check! Pestilence? A hot normal looking chick with her hair covering her boobs...huh?

Were there ever plans for a second series and beyond for the Saturday Night Live line by Xtoys? Yep, another case of Series 2 cancelled greatness. I would have owned all of these

Keep Nat X and the Samurai Baker and bump Mary Catherine Gallagher and fucking Goatboy. Well, the Baker was ok...but I have never liked Nat X, so let's compromise: Keep Baker and MCG and dump Nat X and Goatboy. Work for you?

also from mez Dark Carnival series 2 (i'm sure you guys know i'm a sucker for creepy clowns:( ) Those look pretty nice right there. Too bad they never made it out, as I love the concept of the line, kinda like Infernal Parade. At the time these came out, I was not really into the cartoony style of Mezco, so I never picked them up. Looking back, I may just have to put them on my (already extensive) "want" list.

A couple of NECA movie figures that never made it out for various reasons. We have already seen the Xerxis and Samara protos in this thread (but here they are anyways for completion sake) I am sure many will remember the O-Ren Ishii figure that was supposed to be in Kill Bill series 1. Apparently Lucy Liu was being a bitch about the likeness, so it was scrapped. NECA was also going to do figures from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but Tim Curry did not want to play ball, so yeah... Neca also had another sculpt ready for the movie "9". Unfortunately, the movie sort of bombed (though had spectacular visuals), so I understand the decision to cancel any further figures. NECA was also planning to give us a fourth zombie from Dawn of the Dead, but never made it past some initial sculpting. By than, the traditional Cult Classics line had run its course. Here is the Roger Zombie head sculpt. Speaking of zombies..... Originally slated for one of the Cult Classics lines, is the fan favorite Zombie Ed. The figure never made it out because the factory that was going to produce it went belly up, and NECA was unable to retrieve the molds. Too bad. There are some bootleg version available on eBay, but the quality is severely lacking. Hellraiser is the series that put NECA on the map as far as action figures is concerned. They had a fantastic run, though I would liked to have seen them finish off the remainder of the Cenobites, but hey. Now famous amongst Hellraiser fans is the prototype for the Engineer. NECA has teased us for a long time that it may still make it out, but everybody should have given up by now. Honorable mentions.......... Though the Machete figure did make it out, it would have been so much more awesome had we gotten the whole thing. Not sure if the roof of the car was ever intended as part of the whole release, or merely a base for them to display at conventions, it certainly adds a ton to the figure. With the roof, the pose of the figure makes a lot more sense. another honorable mention..... NECA made Ghostface from Scream 4. Unfortunately they made the dumbass decision to do half plastic, half fabric for the figure. Looks like ass and a half. They quickly made a second version with fully sculpted robe, that was supposed to be released back in July. There has only been one confirmed sighting of the new version, and it comes as part of a Scream 4 special release box that is exclusive to Scandinavia. (Check it out here). Until there is a regular sighting, I am going to keep it on this list.

Well, the Baker was ok...but I have never liked Nat X, so let's compromise: Keep Baker and MCG and dump Nat X and Goatboy. Work for you? The only one I had from series one was Mary Katherine Gallagher, which I gave to my sister. I never saw any of the others in person, but would have liked to own the Baker and Goatboy. As for series 2, Roseanne Roseannadanna, Hans and Franz, and Opera Man would have been great! I would have been great if the line continued further possibly with characters like Wayne Campbell, Garth Algar, Church Lady, Craig & Ariana, Matt Foley, Caveman Lawyer, Beldar Conehead, and so many more

Wasn't that the excuse Sigourney Weaver used in regards to Alien figures?

i'm sure it's an excuse a lot of hypocrits used, sure they'll make millions making insanely violent movies, but god forbid a toy have a piece of plastic weapon
