Doesn't matter what it is. If it's new to you and you love it or hate it, plop some words down here about it. For me it's the Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio for the iPad. Stolen image, so if you can't see it, blow and find it yourself. Thought it would be dumb, ugly and annoying. Instead, it's incredibly smart, attractive and functional. I can poop with it and can handle it just fine. It has Bluetooth connectivity to the iPad, which is great. Nothing physical in the connection between devices to worry about breaking from sloppy handling. The tablet is enveloped tightly by, but inserted easily into, the soft molded frame. From the moment I opened the box it began charging in weak light, and according to the website, will do so admirably inside and out, strong light or weak. And, once fully charged, it should run in absolute darkness for 2 years. Neat, if I ever get stuck in a well and want to write a memoir. If you open it and set the pad horizontally, the keyboard will recognize the position and reconnect itself to the device automatically. If you keep the pad vertical, folding the keyboard behind or not, it will not come on. It's obviously designed to be held vertically in the left hand since the placement of the solar cells allowed them to create a flat space above the keyboard for gripping. Actually, I guess it works for lefties as well when it's flipped over. The keyboard has a function key that allows you to control many of the lower functions: volume, play, pause, mute, cut, paste...pretty cool. Haven't played much, but it does make the tablet feel more functional, since browsing and interacting was cumbersome with the on-screen keyboard. But it takes about 5 seconds to remove the pad if I want to reclaim that feeling of flap-less, no-fold freedom. ;D This folio is a smart sumbitch and is no gimmick. It's not very heavy, and successfully expands on the capabilities of the iPad to make it feel more like a netbook or laptop, without sacrificing the freedom to move around with it.

I'll eventually probably settle for the $50 non-solar iHome counterpart.

I blew the dust off my old Sony Mavica CD-250 camera the other night. Got it in 2003 or so. Thing still works like a charm. It uses mini CDs (I use CD-RWs) to write the images and videos to, and it's only 2megapixels, but it's still quite good for being a massive hunk of outdated plastic and moving parts. I have a newer Olympus and a Canon that take better pictures, sure, but along with the massive battery that lasts forever in the Sony, and the "fun factor" of handling the beast, I'm determined to put it back in use and not neglect it.

It looks really nice, shame it's only 2 megapixels. Man, technology moves fast.

No shit. I got it on a discontinued clearance sale from Sony, and it had only been out a year or so before that. I recall something either missing or being wrong and they basically told me "Tough shit, asswipe. We don't make this anymore and don't care." LOL But I can't remember what the problem was. They can be had off eBay with a bunch of stuff for about $25 now. ;D

I just bought a replacement battery for the old video iPod my brother gave me. Battery is shot to shit and I have to crack it open and replace it. Review to follow.

Tried to do that with an old Dell Pocket DJ. Loved that thing, but it didn't work out. I get stuff like these sometimes for something sweet, but somewhat better than candy. These suck. They're all the same flavor and it's not good.

I love fruit snacks, BJ's has like 40 pack boxes of healthier ones that don't taste bad.

Domino's pan pizza is pretty fucking good, especially for 6 bucks. Gooey cheeses, fluffy, buttery crust. It's surprising how much variety they offer now in terms of kinds of food, as well as options for pizza. They've changed for the better.

New iPod battery works great. Installation took about 10 minutes, and that was only because I read the instructions twice before I started and I went verrrrrry slowly. The wire that powers the volume control is right under where you have to pry out the old battery, which is stuck in place with adhesive, making is super easy to accidentally sever the volume wire with the pry tool they give you. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

This stupid Xbox 360 battery charger that I bought for $60 fucking died after a few months of use. I'll have to look for the box to see what brand it is.

Oh man, oh man, the things I could say about this place- and not a one of them negative. Fuck the haters. Ikea is awesome. I have been decking my dwellings up with their shit for the better part of a decade now, and don't plan on quitting either. Quitting's just not part of what I do. *Strikes another cigarette lit* The prices are great, the style suites my tastes, the quality is surprisingly adequate- considering I still have all of the stuff I didn't give away, and the people I gave stuff to still have my shit. Holds up rather well for such an affordable price. Do kids build this furniture in sweatshops? If so: somebody up at Ikea, if you're reading this, I salute you. Good work on teaching immigrant children how to manufacture with quality in mind. Maybe America could sit in one day and take some notes. All-in-all, I'll give it a score of... IKEA > OTHER FURNITURE STORES SideNote, Ikea also has food, and the price on the menu includes tax.

Ikea meatballs are the shit. As far as furniture It has been hit and miss for me. I have resorted to just buying stuff from there that is actual wood in case i need to add screws. All the compressed wood seems to fall apart on me.

Tried the Zevia ginger root beer and orange. Horrible. Root beer lacks flavor, lost its fizz almost immediately, not sweet at all. The orange tasted like some chemically grapefruit concoction, like Fresca and kerosene. Unless you're a smelly hippie who loves to say how wonderful the most boring and flavorless garbage is as long as it's not bad for you, then you'll hate it, too.

This is a Georgetown Pottery shaving scuttle (G20 model). It is designed to keep shaving lather warm (hot) while you shave. It's very nice, the difference between a nice warm lather and some gunk out of a can is night and day. The only problem is that sometimes I get the thing a little too hot and it can be tough to keep the lather alive (it dries out). It was a gift from the wife and I appreciate having it very much.

I don't know why that requires an eyeroll but yes.
ETA: I actually get A LOT of compliments on it.

She likes it, she thinks I look weird without facial hair so, it works out. Mostly it just draws attention away from my misshapen head. I pretty much let it do it's own thing, I have some shaping cream (instead of wax) that I use when I want to curl it.

On most people a mustache like that would look grimy and dirty. On you it looks good. Kudos.
