Is pimping one's own band allowed? If not, I do apologise. If so... apology retracted. Pimp away. Not bad. Which is the face of Buckman?

Flying Colors debut.
If you know Mike Portnoy, you know he played with Dream Theater lo these past few decades. And you would also know he's a spread-eagled, super-slut for any side project as drummer/spearhead/member he can jump onto.
Aside from him there's Neal Morse - the god behind the genius of contemporary symphonic-prog band, Spock's Beard, who ditched them for a solo career when he "found God." He's doing guits and vox.
Steve Morse. Guitars. If you don't know him, die. Dave LaRue. Bass. Same deal about dying and not knowing, or vice versa. Who cares. Play more Dixie Dregs.
Then there's some vocalist named Casey McPherson I'd never heard of. He does pop stuff. That's all I know about him.
The prog faithful are livid about this album. The rest seem to like it.
I.
Like it.
It's catchy, well-written pop-prog, if you will.
It really doesn't have to be post-menopausal, post-dubshitfuckyougodddamncrapwhat'shotthisweek bullshit to be new. *grumblegrumblekidsthesedaysgrumble*

Picked up the Serj Tankian album. Think this is his best solo album.

Sad but amazing last concert with Layne... the MTV Unplugged concert that Alice In Chains did Layne Stayley was in a league of his own that to this day....I cant think of any current vocalists that can match is emotive nakedness. "Nutshell" is one of the greatest songs ever written by that guy. He was awesome. No doubt. He's missed big time.

A great tune that strays away from the norm. These guys are from the same neighborhood as Ctyler and Magneto.

The acoustic version of Nutshell from this concert, left the ex wife in tears first time she heard it

I was quoting Chappelle's "Home Stenographer" skit. Pop music is fucked up these days.

Also met Andy Dick and legendary Porn Star Ron Jeremy among others while I had that gig.

^ I also met Gospel country star Pam Tillis and ex-Marilyn Manson guitarist Daisy Berkowitz when he was playing for the band Jack Off Jill. Met the rest of the band but I can't remember their names.

No one should ever admit to meeting either Andy Dick or Ron Jeremy. Andy Dick signed my (now ex)girlfriends sock at a comedy club in Nashville. She took her shoe off, pulled off her sock and asked him to sign it. Sometimes i miss that chick.

It's not on youtube, but I'm listening to Fozzy's new album: Sin and Bones. Currently on the song "Dark Passenger"
Real good, imo.
