I'm here with you. I managed to snag an X-Force three pack Wolvie. I didn't care for the colors so I took a black and a silver Sharpie to him and man did it make a difference. One sweet little berserker.

Good to see the topic move from spawn forums, and I got to keep my name. Anyway, I picked up Iceman and Astonishing Wolvie loose from ebay, didn't feel like waiting a couple of months to find them at retail. I still need the Future Foundation FF variant set, but have never seen any of the team sets at retail.

Nice to see familiar faces and names, and really glad to see this thread come back to life. I started on on cc's board if anyone joined up there
But went looking for the variant namor and saw nothing, but did see a couple new 2packs I saw the new spidey with aguy in red, and saw the iron fist and luke cage

Is the Spidey in that pack look any good (what with the new articulation and all)?

I posted this in the random toy pics thread before I realized we had a Marvel Universe thread, but I picked up an X-23 yesterday. Still working on my X-Force collection, really impressed by X-23's quality, really sturdy despite the super small joints.

I really dig the X-23 as well. I don't know if it is just mine, but the hip joints are worthless. Pretty much no movement at all when trying to move the leg forward. On another note, what is the variant of the new Namor? Is it just the name on the stand?

I'd like to get a regular Spidey that's the same size as Scarlett Spidey, Sybiote Spidey, and Spidey 2099 but I hate how the one from the Sentry comic pack looks.

Hey ya'll! I finally picked up the x-force three pack last week and an ultron, darkhawk. This week I found a Steve Rogers (one of my favorite figs so far), which wouldn't ring up and I said to the lady "I think it is around $7" she. Called toys and they told her it was on clearance for $2.98!! Then yesterday I got X-23 and she is awesome, except for the hip joints, almost no movement.

I used to find marvel universe with little trouble. Now I can't find anything. With the last 2 series I've seen Skaar, scarlet spider, falcon & ultron. All I see now is terrible revision cases with Thor, Wrecker & Punisher. Very lame. All the crappy revision figures are clogging the pegs. I need to find Steve Rogers.

^My Target always seems to be pretty well stocked with MU, but everywhere else there's nothing but movie tie-in figs. I didn't know about the revision cases though, I'll have to see if I can find a Punisher. EDIT: Oh yeah, we're both in MD, where'd you see Punisher? Lots of Steve Rogers' here in Carroll County.

Not a bad visual checklist, but its missing pics of some figures and it doesn't show them on card or mention base variants

^That's just the one I use, if there's a better one that'd be cool. And that reminds me, I saw the long-haired Winter Soldier variant about a month ago. Was tempted to buy it but I'm mostly sticking to X-Men, how rare is he?

Not very, he from what I remember was packed 2 to a case and all of them came with the long hair, if anything the short hair is harder to find

And now that they released him as a part of the captain america line the long hair version is more common

Wow i can't find Skaar for nothin. A friend of mine found one for me, bought it then lost it before he could give it to me. I keep passing on Scarlet spider and falcon which are both plentiful, and I snatched an ultron as soon as I saw him. He is fighting my Night ops Cap, bleeding edge Ironman, Hulk, modern Thor, Yellow Jacket, and Antman Avengers team on my desk at work.

I don't think there are to many scalpers around here, but nothing ever gets put out. In fact, the Target close to me started putting spiderman on the mu pegs. I guess its good that there hasn't been many mu that have interested me lately.

So the facebook page that I've been following has a pretty good visual checklist, once I get the link I will post it. They show pics of variants on card which is a big help
