It's okay. I think I got the best paint apps they had but I swapped the head with an extra Secret Wars Mags and changed the red to black. Not completely done (needs slight touch-ups around the purple bits in the front) and it makes a bit of a difference. Here you are good sir. and a close-up of the modified head swap

Found the new series at Target this past weekend. Saw them all minus Storm. I picked up Psylocke and Daredevil.

Damn I was in Target yesterday and they had two and a half rows of nothing but goddamn Falcons. Wanted to smash all of them.

Don't go to TRU and Wal-Mart/Target is hit or miss depending when and which one I go to.

I finally picked up Apocalypse & Cyclops recently after a long MU hiatus. They're awesome and now I'm in full MU mode. I need to finish up my X-Force collection then work on an X-Men animated series team.

Are those just being released? I saw them and a couple others at WM this morning. They didn't look too bad(can't stand 3 3/4" stuff).

They actually came out about a year ago but for some reason revision cases or old cases(?) are just now popping up all over the place. Worked out pretty well for me (and for Hasbro I guess) cuz my interest shifted from MU to G.I. Joe right around that time so I passed on them originally.

I still haven't seen that Cyclops in stores. Guess I need to go check to see if he's on the shelves around here.

I got mine online recently when I ordered my Zombie Viper. I always try to get a few things when these places have a flat shipping charge, you know. If I can get enough old school X-Men together I may just dig up my old BAF Marvel Legends Sentinel! That would make a hell of a display in my detolf, don't you think? Which ones are out there, like from the cartoon I mean? I've seen Wolverine once or twice- do they make Gambit and Rogue yet?

I'd love to see that display. They have a Gambit/Mr. Sinister comic pack, an old school Magneto, Prof. X is supposed to be out this year, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Storm, Archangel, Juggernaut, Jean Grey, and Psylocke. Those are just characters that appeared in the cartoon off the top of my head that have been made in MU form. I may have missed some but there's plenty of places to see a full list of stuff released so far and what's still to come.

-I'm disappointed by the Gambit/Sinister pack. Both characters I'd like to have but Gambit uses the XMO movie body so he lacks wrist and ankle articulation, Sinister uses Colossus' body & head so he's waaay too big. Still, it's 2 characters I like so I could be tempted if I find it in person.
-Upcoming Professor X looks great. Jubilee has possibly the best headsculpt the line has had yet, it's rumored there will be a cartoon accurate variant. Also, I heard she's a vampire in the current comics? Can someone explain this to me?
-Jean Grey has no neck and the hair's wrong, I'm waiting for a better version.
-Rogue's in a Longshot 3 pack due out later this year
-For Storm they have yet to do her white costume
-Archangel and Nightcrawler are fine
-Psylocke's curly hair is disappointing but she looks good enough
-There have been several decent Colossus' but the one in the new 2 pack with unmasked Juggernaut looks like it could be the best Jim Lee era version.
Is there a way to get the animated series looking Wolverine outside of a box set? I know it's in the Giant Size X-Men set and comes with the Sentinel. It's not the same one from the XMO line is it?

I got Loki from the Avengers line, Thor and Odin from the Thor line and a deluxe Hydra soldier from the Captain America line.
Loki's left leg can go forward or out to the side, but the right leg can only go out to the side. No ankle, wrist, chest, or waist articulation and the knees are single joint.
Only thing wrong with the Thor figure is his lower legs are bent to the left, anyone know a fix for that?
Only thing wrong with Odin is his left hand, trying to move it at the wrist I can tell it will tear. Anyone know a fix for that?

For Thor: A lot of MU have articulation at the top of the calf, might just be a stiff joint there? If it's bent where the pin connects the leg then you'll want to let it soak in hot water for like 30 seconds and bend it into the proper position. For Odin's hand you could heat it to loosen it up as well but I would be careful.
Does Loki have thigh cuts? If so his legs probably do have more movement, you just have to work at moving the ball joint at the top of the leg. It took me a while to figure out some of that articulation because it feels so stiff at first.
I dunno, you sure it didn't come in Avengers packaging? That's the only place I've seen the single knee joint stuff.

Put Thor's legs and Odin's hand in hot water and then in the freezer for a minute and both are fixed. Thanks, raz!

I popped in Freds earlier today to pick up some more super glue to finish up a Mr. Fantastic upgrade and they had Cap, Thor, and Avengers movie figures for 12 freaking dollars a pop. What the fuck!?

Loki's hip is "fine" now.
When I move the problem hip(right), it moves the left one as well. But the left one can move independently.
Oddthrall figure...

I went to Target yesterday and while there were a few from the new wave (the one with Shadowland Daredevil I don't keep up with the numbers) there were lots that I have missed. Saw the Jim Lee Cyclops, Cable, Shadowcat, and Spider-Man 2099. Snatched Spidey 2099 as soon as I saw him. May go back for the Jim Lee Cyclops.

Saw my first Daredevil/Bullseye comic pack in the wild at Target yesterday. I'm still looking for Gambit/Sinister, Warlock/Thanos.

Is the DD/BE pack rare? My WM has several of them, and I just used one in a trade.

I still haven't seen one yet. All Target ever has is the Luke Cage/Iron Fist pack and Wal-Mart only has random packs ranging from Secret Wars to Iron Man/Thor.

I just got the Daredevil/Bullseye comic pack. I popped in Wal-Mart and lo and behold there were two of them sitting there. I grabbed one of those suckers and headed straight to the cash register. And the even better part the comic packs went back down to 14.96 instead of 18.99. I am so happy right now. They also had two of the Quicksilver/Wonder Man packs too.

the best loki they put out in the mu line was the walmart exclusive with the frost giant. i myself have been trying to find those damn sinister/gambit and warlock/thanos 2 packs since they were announced. ebay seems to be the only place that has a lot of them but everyone else seems sold out...but ebay prices are to ridiculous the two i bid on went for over $65 shipped!!!

What the fuck happened to this line? Nothing new has come out in awhile. Is it because all the shitty Avengers figures are clogging the pegs?

Speaking of Marvel Universe figures, I got tired of seeing the ridiculous feeBay prices for the NYCC/Marvel subscription exclusive Victor von Doom: So, I did some research and discovered it's nothing more than a retool. It uses MU Captain Rogers head, Adam Warlock's Infinity Gauntlet, and the single carded Dr. Doom. After looking for all the parts, I made the following: One is the comic book version and the other is the single card version. But, I decided to take it a bit further. This is the final version with upgraded clasps/chain:
