I've been out of the Green Lantern scene for a good while and I'm looking to get back in. The last trade I picked up was Agent Orange and dropped off before Blackest Night started. I was looking on Amazon and there's so many different trades involved. If I just get Blackest Night and Blackest Night: GL will I be good to go without getting all the other stuff? I don't know if I can afford all them.

I've been rereading Johns' GL run recently as well. It's good stuff. All you really need for the Blackest Night event is the main book and the GL book, but the way they collected them can make it confusing if you read them one after the other. You need to read the GL issues and the BN issues in the order they were published for the story to make sense, but I think the only book that collects them that way is the expensive Absolute edition. But you can always look up the reading order online and switch back and forth.

Ugh I was afraid of that. Why couldn't they just do it like the Sinestro Corps War trades?
Thanks for the info.
