That's one thing I count on, quick release to disc. If we hadn't gotten passes it would have been a wait-and-see deal.

I'm just not a fan of watching movies with a crowd
I love being able to pause the movie or rewatch something in slow mo that I thought was especially cool if I feel the need
and usually by the the end of the movie my ass and back are killing me because of those seats that were designed for people that are 5' tall
I'm 6'4" and it's impossible to find a comfortable position

I fucking hate crowds. I'd pretty much given up bothering with theaters about 10 years ago, maybe seeing 1 or 2 per year at most in one. Cost is also ridiculous. But as long as studios keep jacking budgets up in the hundreds of millions, they're going to continue causing ticket prices to skyrocket until the whole thing collapses in on itself and we're back to character-driven stories in realistic, humble settings.
But, again, this was free, and the final decider was that Jurassic World came out so there was practically no one there with us.
I'm 6'2" and it's tough to stay comfortable in those chairs. I have nowhere to stretch my legs.

Just got back from Disneyland. On every ride I was screaming, "Witness me!" During the camera parts.

I'm torn on the idea of seeing a movie with a big crowd. On the one hand, people are awful and that fact is exaggerated when they get together in large groups. But at the same time, I love feeling the collected energy of everyone watching a big summer blockbuster together. It gets me really charged and I enjoy the movie even more as a result. So yeah, I dunno.

Nothing beats seeing a movie in the theater! You just have to have a good venue with a good crowd and know when to go and what movies to see.
And good lord, your new avatar is amazing.

1080p webrip is already up for download
omg I'm splooging with excitement
it's such a hassle for me to make it to a theater and this just made my day
I'll happily mail the film makers the price of a movie ticket even though it's free just to support their hard work

It raises the action movie bar so high that Michael Bay should start applying for assistant manager jobs at Arby's. And I'm totally stealing "amazeshit" for use in real life.
