Not much information at this point, but I just saw this posted by a Diamond rep in a Marvel Select thread on The Fwoosh where he always posts the latest reveals.
Oh yeah, and those other movies too. These could be really cool, I think the prospect of big scene-recreating diorama bases makes it even more exciting than if NECA got the license. I hope we see these at Toy Fair. Which scenes would you like to see immortalized in plastic most?

For Pulp Fiction, I'm good with Vincent Vega and Jules Winfield in their suits (shiny painted Star Model B and M1911A1 pistols go without saying). I want Bill with his Hatori Hanso sword and Beatrix with hers from the end of Kill Bill (table and chairs not required). I also really want Jay and Silent Bob as Bluntman and Chronic vs Mark Hamill as Cocknocker (blunt sabers are a must).

Hard to believe Pulp is 20 years old. Fuck.
I'd like a Jules & Vincent for sure, maybe Mia & Vince at the restaurant. Butch with samurai sword, watch and Zed's keys would be nice.

I want Butch in the pawn shop with Budd's Hatori Hanso. Budd kept his Hanso sword. Beatrix finds it hidden in his trailer and uses it in the fight against Elle who is wielding her sword.

Smarty pants. I'd like a figure of Budd but I wouldn't expect one.

I'm a big fan of your smartassery, the tongue-sticking-out smiley's bitter visage is not representative of my own. That's a bummer realization though, I thought the connection to Pulp Fiction was so cool, but I guess the mention of pawning it is still sort of an in-joke.

No offense to Clive Barker, but I think I'm through with bondage action figures.

1st look at their Sin City figures. Hartigan's likeness is sorta cartoony and the sculpt looks a bit soft and stumpy overall. The articulation beats NECA's version, NECA's headsculpt is iffy too so I think I prefer this one but it still isn't perfect. Marv looks fine and the base is great. Nancy looks pretty good, it destroys NECA's, and that's a nice simple base. I've seen better likenesses from Diamond Select, like their Dark World Thor, so these aren't absolutely indicative of how the Tarantino figs'll turn out. Seeing these has reigned in my expectations a little, but I'm glad to see articulation, sweet bases, and quality that's close to NECA.

That just reminds me how great the Sin City movie was. I need to watch that again. I'll pass on those figures because I bought most of the NECA line in 2005, but they do look good.
Bring on the Tarantino stuff!

Those are neat, but i just put all my Sin City Neca stuff away to make room. I even tried to sell empire off at a lousy swap meet. Gonna pass

I don't think I'll be getting them either, but like OK said, they did make me realize I need to watch that awesome movie again lol. I'm mostly excited to see them as an indicator of how the Tarantino figures will look. It seems we're in for a pretty good Toy Fair this year.

And in future news, an entire warehouse full of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back action figures will be buried in a landfill, due to a complete lack of interest.
Seriously, I can understand the Tarantino movies because those are classics, and there's a Sin City sequel coming out so those makes sense as well, but does anyone in 2014 really want toys from Kevin Smith movies? Those movies really don't age well at all. Even Chasing Amy, which I used to really like 10-15 years ago, is pretty much unwatchable by now. I caught a little bit of it on TV a while back, and it made me really sad. I want to go back to the 90s and convince the teenage version of me that Kevin Smith movies really aren't that good...

That was my thinking as well. I mean I guess I could see a Clerks set with a checkout counter diorama having some appeal, but the others not so much, and Strike Back has the least cult status of the bunch. I don't get it, unless maybe there's a new generation of Jay & Silent Bob fans out there we don't know about?

I think I stopped liking Kevin Smith movies because there was this one guy on the old Spawn.com boards who kept gushing over how great they all were, how every single Sam Raimi movie is a masterpiece, how Christopher Nolan is a hack and The Dark Knight was gonna be a colossal disappointment, blah, blah, blah. He was the smuggest dickhead I've ever met on the intertubes. He disappeared completely after The Dark Knight came out and was really good and made a bajillion dollars, but MAN he was obnoxious.

Hahaha. Guru Askew. The one that got me banned from Spawn.
But seriously...those Sin City figures are kinda shitty.....I shit on NECA a lot, but I really do hold their Sin City figures in a positive light. Their Marv is really well done. Something is just off about those DC Direct's.
But I'm down for Pulp Fiction figures.
