I got the first Bioshock demo a while back. Didn't hate it, but I wasn't motivated to buy the game.
Aside from wanting to play more Ratchet, every time I take a shit I'm torn between playing Angry Birds and Trainyard. Gonna have to learn to anticipate stool compositions, as a softer one will be more bird-friendly, and a "Wile E. Coyote hitting a boulder-jam with a stick" kind will make Trainyard the choice. ;D

I signed up for 3 months of Playstation Plus kind of stupidly, but it's paid off: I was going to buy the Warhawk add-on 3 pack for $15, then I realized it was free with a $17.99 3 month subscription to Playstation Plus. So for a few bucks more I'd get free and discounted games as well, seemed like a no-brainer. But right after I clicked purchase I remembered, anything you get free with Playstation Plus you only have access to for as long as you're a subscriber. I felt really stupid, but I actually haven't touched the Warhawk maps since that first day and because of the Playstation Plus subscription I've gotten to play Zen Pinball for free, gotten into the Dead Space 2 beta which is awesome (especially when playing with Brandon Storm & Spliff), and got into the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood beta, which isn't my kind of game but it's cool & different and I've had fun with it. It's only been like a month and I no longer feel stupid for stupidly purchasing a subscription. Oh and I also just got the PSone game Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, which I've always wanted to play, free.

Mafia 2 is kicking ass so far. Haven't stopped playing it for about 10 hours or so. Maybe. That's what it feels like anyway. Thank god it is NOW Saturday. Still have two full days to enjoy the game fully before I go back to school Monday.

Blacklight: Tango Down (PS3)- Ranked up to level 26, love this game.
Darkwatch (PS2) - Just started replaying this, forgot how fun and varied it is. One of the best FPS' on PS2.
SSX 3 (PS2) - Conquering the mountain never gets old, still unlocking stuff 7 years later.
Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King (PS2) - I had Two Towers back in the day, got this one last year and am just now getting into it. I'm having a good time reliving the battles of the movie and leveling up characters, it's pretty challenging too. Makes me wanna get the blu-rays.

I got Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood, After playing the first few hours I'm in love. It's nonstop western shootouts that are really intense. Taking out each enemy is more of a challenge than your standard FPS due to the civil war era weapons. Also, you can kill guys while riding a horse in first person and the multiplayer looks great. I could see it ranking in my top 5 PS3 games between Wolfenstein & Chronicles of Riddick.

Rented MAG, played for about 45 minutes, threw it in the corner. I seriously hate this game.

I played the beta and enjoyed it. Might pick it up some day. I wish I could still rent games, all the rental places went out of business around here. It has encouraged me to get games super cheap on ebay instead though. I got Call Of Juarez for $12!

^I have a friend who uses Gamefly and likes it a lot. Netflix I believe is rumored to be working on doing games at some point.

I've been using gamefly for about five years, in my opinion it's the best way to go, especially after you hit that one year mark.
Right now I'm playing Mass effect... one, that's right, I bought the huge collectors edition box set with the massive strategy guide, then moved right after it came out, put it back on the shelf, and only just picked it back up this last week and a half, I'm almost finished. I have to say that I love this game, it's like a living breathing Arthur C. Clarke novel.

I beat Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood. It was only 10 1/2 hours but it was epic, full of satisfying gunslinging action, beautiful scenery, and some of the most fully realized characters I've seen in a video game.
One added bonus is you can choose which of the 2 main characters to play as before each mission and they play totally differently, one can use a bow & arrow and is better at long range, the other is great with pistols and get shots off much faster. Their paths also diverge at times so the game encourages you to play through twice.
From what I've played of the multiplayer it's pretty good. Really the only downside is that it features character upgrades, but they only last for the duration of the match. It's kind of disappointing because when I saw that it featured upgrades I thought there were persistent and I'd be able to grind and earn stuff for my character. Still, it features the same great gunplay of the singleplayer, has unique game modes, and I love shooting guys with a bow & arrow so I think I'll get some enjoyment out of it.

PS3 owners: one of my favorite downloadable games, Punisher: No Mercy, is on sale for $4.99. It gets a bad rap but it's so worth it!!

I have to sell a bunch of my games. Who'd ever thought not ever having a job would yeild such disasterous results for when I really need money? lol. Oh well, I'm in high school, big deal.
Gonna have to part with AC2 and some other greats. Pretty much the only ones I'll be keeping are RDR, BF:BC2, CoD:MW2(unforunately), and DMC4. Shit.

Anyone have Splinter Cell: Double Agent? Thinking about getting it for PS3, I've always wanted to get into this series.

I haven't played the new one yet (conviction) but I have played every other entry into the series (including double agent), the thing I like most about the series is that the stealth learning curve is extremely sharp, unlike other stealth games they punish the hell out of you for missing that shot, or alerting that guard (almost no run and gun).
Although double agent is a really good game, you would be starting in the middle of the story, if I were you I would go back to at least chaos theory, the Tom Clancy plot is actually pretty complex.
Oh, and Michael Ironside is a great choice for the lead, he really brings out the character, makes snake seem kind of whiny.

^If they ever did a movie there is no reason Ironside couldn't play him. Right age and everything, all he'd need to do is get in better shape.

Waiting to get AC Brotherhood from Blockbuster for the week. Hopefully they still have some copies available today. I have heard good things of this game.

Thanks for the info Laton, I'm dying to get into this series now. I still play PS2 games so I'll play Chaos Theory too if I can get into Double Agent.
Screaming4Blood, did you get AC:B? From what I played of the multiplayer, I think you're gonna love it.

The multiplayer is pretty cool. It will be cooler when I don't suck ass at it. XD Played about two hours of it last night. Liking it so far, but it doesn't seem really polished. The horses look kinda like PS2 era graphics. That's no problem though.
And did I miss a meeting or something? Since when is Blockbuster going out of business?

Netflix and redbox sucked em dry.
We had like three or four video stores close within a few months of each other, I think. Hollywood video gave up fast.
The blockbuster in the middle of town that used to be awesome is now hanging on for dear life. I think they turn their computers and lights on only when someone walks in....

Just completed my 3rd playthrough of Call Of Juarez: BIB. I'm so burnt out on this game but I only have 2 trophies left to go (which require a playthrough on very hard and another $600,000 earned in multiplayer. So probably another 11 hours a piece uggghh lol). Still an awesome game, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered getting this far.

Playing Syphon Filter 3, one of the few PSone classics that's still fun for me even though I didn't play it back in the day. Reminds me of a primitive Max Payne, Punisher, 3rd person James Bond game. You can be tactical or run & gun and it controls well and that's good enough for me. Got it free with Playstation Plus.
I keep reading that SF3's the weakest in the series but I'm like 6 levels in and it's gotta be one of the best PSone games I've played. I also have the 1st one but I got stuck on this mission where you have to defuse bombs in a park and it's extremely hard to do within the time limit. I didn't enjoy any of the first one's levels as much as these, there are a ton of weapons (crossbow!) and varied objectives. Sweet game. Oh yeah, I also loved Dark Mirror on the PSP, that was the first Syphon Filter I played.

Magic: The Gathering for PS3 is out today, so now you can enjoy Magic: The Gathering without destroying your childhood. JK I only played a couple times at summer camp back in the day but I'm actually loving the demo. The tutorials are really helpful, I'm gonna have to get this when I can spare ten bucks. (never) After like 8 tries I finally beat my first opponent 26 to -6. This game is really cool.

Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light online co-op update finally happened along with free challenge room DLC. The few matches I've played online have been a blast. Only complaint is it's BS that Lara Croft has all these outfits but Totec doesn't even get a top to his bikini.

Just beat Primal (PS2) - huge fantasy worlds to explore, great characters, nu-metal, I loved it! There are only a few adventure games I really love: Ocarina of Time, Sonic Adventure 1, Ico, Jak & Daxter 1, & now Primal. If you wanna see what it's like, here's a great video review: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5801593460399661191#
