Via the BBC: www.bbc.com/culture/story/20160819-the-21st-centurys-100-greatest-filmsTop 10: 10. No Country for Old Men (Joel and Ethan Coen, 2007) 9. A Separation (Asghar Farhadi, 2011) 8. Yi Yi: A One and a Two (Edward Yang, 2000) 7. The Tree of Life (Terrence Malick, 2011) 6. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry, 2004) 5. Boyhood (Richard Linklater, 2014) 4. Spirited Away (Hayao Miyazaki, 2001) 3. There Will Be Blood (Paul Thomas Anderson, 2007) 2. In the Mood for Love (Wong Kar-wai, 2000) 1. Mulholland Drive (David Lynch, 2001) Like most critics lists, I haven't even heard of many of the movies on the list. I've seen 40 of them though, so that's not bad. But I would've included The Prestige instead of Inception and Kill Bill instead of Inglourious Basterds, and swapped out all the Wes Anderson movies for more Darren Aronofsky and Guillermo del Toro.

The only one in the top 10 I agree with is Eternal Sunshine. - Zodiac sucks.
- Children of Men rules.
- Grand Budapest Hotel higher than any other Wes Anderson film? ROFL.
- 25th Hour sucks.
- The Social Network sucks.
- The Dark Knight rules.
- The Master and Synechdoche New York are mesmerizing.
- Inglorious Basterds is pretty bad.
- Under The Skin is interesting but laughably far from top 100. How about the similar but way more amazing Ex Machina?
- Her is great.
- And Aliens isn't on the list, so it's wrong.

Aliens came out in the 20th century. Then the 21st century sucks.

There haven't been any sci-fi/action movies quite as good as Aliens in the past 16 years, but I'd say Edge of Tomorrow and The Force Awakens make some strong arguments.

There really haven't. I think I'd have to go with Guardians of the Galaxy.
I'm also surprised LOTR, The Departed, and Kill Bill didn't make the cut. And I wouldn't be mad if Drive was on there.
I do have to give them props for including Fury Road, but Watchmen and Avengers would be good picks too.
