Do you guys ever wonder if Heros or villains would sometimes forget that they have other powers too? Turns out magneto has other abilities other than magnet manipulation and flight, he can heat shit up and control water I think. Who do you think would forget sometimes?

"Oh, yeah. That thing I do. It's that thing I do."
My answer is Namor. He has the abilities of aquatic animals(biggest one being a discharge of electricity). Though that's more due to writers deciding "No, he doesn't anymore."

A lot of heroes have cheesy powers from decades ago that should be forgotten, if for nothing else then so Grant Morrison can bring them up again and make us laugh.

Superman does have so many powers. I wonder how many more he's forgotten about that we never even knew of.

And apparently they just added a new one recently. Just have him do everything ever all the time already.

That's why I never really cared for superman
he can literally do anything and everything but he conveniently has just one weakness
it makes for very boring story lines

There are still some really awesome Superman stories. I got the Superman Unbound hardcover and it was so good.

^ Agree. There are some great stories. But overall he's never been a hero I've been much interested in following or collecting. It's mostly been through reccs that I've read him.

I've been enjoying Superman since I was little so I may be somewhat biased. Ghost Rider (and the Midnight Sons), Superman, Spider-Man, X-Men, and Batman. They were my favorites growing up.

I got that one for Christmas and started reading it but never finished. It was good though, I should go back and read the rest.

All the best Superman stories are the ones where his powers don't really matter. Birthright, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?, All-Star Superman, Red Son, Kingdom Come... all great stories that find something interesting to do with a character that's basically a god.

Unchained actually addressed something that I never even thought of when it comes to Superman and makes a really good point but since you said you haven't finished it I don't know if I should talk about it.

Anyone ever read Superman: Secret Identity? It's one of the few Superman stories I've actually enjoyed.
