It's pretty easy to customize weathered effects. Just put it in boiling water until it's soft enough to trim into whatever shape you want.

Hmm, good to know, thanks. In that case the Ronan cape will probably work pretty well. Still, if any of you guys find a better one, let me know!

That Predator custom up there reminds me how insanely awesome McFarlane Toys was back in the day. What the hell happened to them?

Todd got complacent and stopped aggressively going after licences like Randy has shown you have to do, retailers stopped ordering Spawn figures after 30 series, the talent left and the smart ones went to NECA. I'm glad though, there was a time when I wouldn't buy anything non-McFarlane and collecting has become much more fun and rewarding since then; even in spite of Hasbro's shittiness. I really value articulation these days too, and they keep finding new ways to improve that without compromising sculpt. Most of the Spawn figures don't mean anything to me now, sure the sculpts are awesome and they provide great scraps for displays, but I have little to no attachment to the characters. Now my collection is all about great characters. Thanks Todd!

i think the MCf cape would fit best actually, your cable looks pretty beefy... on a related note, i picked up a 90s Cable and Ghost Rider issue...

Was the comic any good? I like Mark Texeira 90's Ghost Rider stuff. The McF cape is nice but I think I'll have a better chance at a dirt cheap option if I search Star Wars figures.

I thought SW Unleashed Count Dooku might work, but the cape is sculpted into a pretty extreme shape and it's really hard plastic. Man I miss the Unleashed line. I still have the full set, but I want more.

The LOTR line had lots of capes.

Whoa, I love that Dooku cape. And it can be had cheap enough that I might get one just to see how it works. I'll check LOTR figs too. Thanks guys, you always come through with the best suggestions.
And mags, while I have you here, is the latest ML Hyperion head larger than the latest ML Punisher head? I've seen the Hyperion head used on the MS body and it's the right scale, but the hair's not quite accurate so I'm just wondering what my options are.

Another thing about the Dooku cape is the left hand/arm and the cape is all one sculpted piece.

Awesome, thanks! Hyperion's definitely more to scale.

It was too ambitious for my abilities, so it's on the backburner until I decide to boldly sculpt all over it.
