Personally I think that McTurd's original Movie Maniacs series 1 Leatherface action figure from 1998 in the 6-7 inch scale is the very best Leatherface figure from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The version that came out in 2005 from Neca is nice but lacks the necessary girth and the face is just off for Leatherface. The versions from Neca are too thin. The Mezco Leatherfaces are nice but the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gunnar Hansen version is too cartoony. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Leatherface Figure from Mezco is probably the very best part 2 Leatherface figure of all time. That thing is really a work of art. What do you guys think of The original Leatherface from Movie. Maniacs series 1 action figure from McTurd? Thoughts on this very first Leatherface action figure?

I liked the bucket of body parts he came with. I wish the 18" version had them.

I wish McTodd had turned the 18" version into a 6" figure. The sculpt and pose on the 18" is the best classic TCM Leatherface ever made. They down sized the 18" Freddy I wonder why they never did it with Leatherface.

I'm surprised neither Neca or Mezco didn't do classic Leatherface into a similar pose if they can do every version of Jason and Freddy or every version of Alien and Predators they can do one more version of classic Leatherface.

I have always wanted a figure of the transvestite Version of Letherface to add to my cross-dressing / androgynous figure collection.

I have always wanted a figure of the transvestite Version of Letherface to add to my cross-dressing / androgynous figure collection. That would never ever be made into an action figure. That's by far the worst representation of Leatherface. It's an insult to the character. I tried watching TCM: The Next Generation, recently It's on "On Demand". I had to shut if off like 20 minutes into it. Terrible terrible movie.

It is terrible...terribly awesome!!! Renée Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey's finest acting moments are in this movie.
The late Robert Jacks portrayed the most frightening version of Leatherface ever put on screen. What could be scarier than an obese Texan drag-queen chasing you with a chainsaw?

Robert Jacks was a putz. His portrayal was an insult to the character. He's no RA Mihailoff that's for sure.

Agreed on the 18" being the best one but I really like Neca's 7" version too. Mezco's Hewitt figure is probably my favorite Leatherface overall.

The Mezco Hewitt figure is the best remake Leatherface figure out there. A lot of effort was put forth into that figure. I wonder if there are any plans to make a Leatherface from TCM 3-D 2013? A Dan Yeager version of Leatherface.
