There is one on ebay that says "Ghostface" instead of "Scream" on the card back. Anyone know anything about variants? I know that there was a mini poster variant....never knew of a card back variant.

When my niece was 2 years old she was terrified of the "ghostface" costumes for sale at the grocery store. When we asked her what scary at the store her she would contort her face into the "ghostface" It was hilarious. The Mcfarlain figure was pretty good. I have one loose.

Geek when you were little what scared you? Was is Michael Myers? Freddy Krueger? Leatherface? Jason Voorhees? Alien? Were there any movie monsters that put a scare in you?

Jason Voorhees scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. I had cable TV in my room growing up and slept with the TV on. Seems like every damn time I fell asleep with it on HBO I would wake up to the ending scene when Jason jumped out of the lake and pulled Alice into the water. Fucking made me jump every time. This was back in the day when HBO ran the same programs the same time of the day repetitively throughout the whole month.
The Giger Alien has always freaked me out also. I still occasionally have nightmares with several of them chasing me.

That ending scene is a doozy especially for a young kid waking up from a groggy stupor at 2am.

Indeed. It was a big time morning wood cock-blocker.

Do you remember watching movies like "Malibu Express" and The "Emanuelle" movies on cable back in the day?

Our cable provider was fucking lame back in the day. I did not have MTV until I was an adult and it only had one movie channel (HBO). I remember watching movies like "TOMBOY" and "Just one of the Guys" several times though.
