This is an interesting development. The company that resurrected Kenner's Star Wars style "Alien" figures that were famously cancelled when they realized it was not going to be a family flick is now working on similar "what if?" figures for pretty much all of the best things. I had no interest in the Alien ones and it's hard to imagine me liking any of that hipster retro crap, but I can't hear Aliens, Predator (maybe that's the only way we'll get Dutch's team), and Terminator and not get excited. Also Firefly and Buffy, that's kinda neat, and Escape From New York, Goonies, and Bill And Ted. Calling $15 a value is a huge fucking joke though and Neca's already made my dream figures for the Stan Winston sci-fi trifecta. Whaddya guys think? Faux-1982 5-point articulation figures, but yes.

Not really impressed with the small scale and the prices. The Alien figure is okay....nothing special. These are like The Six Million Dollar Man retro small figures that are on pre-order sale. Too pricey for what you're actually getting. Everything is just Meh'.

I can see vintage Star Wars collectors being all over these but that price? sheesh.

I still think vintage style firefly figs would be cool, seeing as there are no firefly figs out there
