Nice find Griffin, I always thought those were sweet looking. It's a shame the stretch goals have to be purchased separately, I often see those added on to certain pledge levels for free once the goal is met, that'd probably make it a no-brainer. As it is, I'm not sure I need armored animal figures but they're kind of like the ultimate Battle Beasts and that's cool. Definitely something I'll consider. I think the owl's my favorite.

A favor: if any of you folks pledge, or even if you don't, could youse message the Horsemen on Kickstarter and ask them to make a proper set of flat webbed duck feet for Minotaur the duck? I sent them a message last night, and they said that if enough people wanted duck feet, they'd add that as a stretch goal. I really want Minotaur the Duck, but the feet thing is holding me back. Your old buddy Griff (and I'm sure a lot of other collectors) would really appreciate the help.

I'm holding out for an owl + raven bundle, but if I end up pledging I'll ask!

I am going to hold out for a bit on this. The first half of the set will definately be funded, as they need less than $10,000 to reach their initial goal with just under 30 days remaining. I'd like a full set, but the ones I'm most interested in are stretch goal add-ons (Owl, Phoenix, Quetawhatshisfuckingname, ). I really hope these get made, and I'm curious what the mystery figure is.

They've officially hit their primary funding goal, and quickly too (less than 57 hours I believe). Now to wait and see how long it takes to hit some of those stretch goals. Maybe with SDCC coming up, they can drum up some serious support.

You may get those duck feet after all...

I sure hope so. There's an update that says that the duck feet will now be included with every Minotaur the Duck pledge/order.

At the rate it's going, looks like both wing sets are inevitable. Still contemplating which pledge to make. I'll probably do the Raven/Duck combo, with a few add-ons. Can't quite afford the full set right now.

Well, they've added an interchangeable Raven skull head in with the bone wings. That's awesome. They've also added another stretch goal at $175,000: a pink Flamingo figure. Why God? Please tell me why a Flamingo? I almost hope this thing is so fucking ugly that I won't want to buy it.

I'd actually buy a flamingo, but it couldn't be on the exact same body; interchangeable feet wouldn't help that thing look right. Flamingos legs bend the other way. Pass. I have a feeling this'll hit $175,000, though.

It certainly looks like they'll get that much. Wonder if it hits that within the next two days if they'll add one final stretch goal with a week to go? If they don't add any more figures, they should really consider doing series 2 down the line. Lots of cool birds left to do....

I have a feeling this'll hit $175,000, though. $196,000 and growing. This shit is incredible. Surely the guys will toss in something else when they hit $200,000....

Over $270,000 now. Sadly, I had to greatly reduce my pledge. No birdies for me. Just some prints, a sticker, and a t-shirt. Hopefully when these hit their webstore I can snag a set, and see if someone has an extra duck they'd part with.
