Mayweather 'played' his opponent this Sunday morning (Saturday fight night over in the US because we're 12 hours ahead here). It wasn't even a fight. He played his opponent and cruised his way to easy victory as is usually the case with all of his fights.
Mayweather's professional fight record now stands at 44 Wins, 0 Loss, 0 Draw.
It's official, this guy is the best professional fighter in the word. And legends like him don't come in every generation. We're just lucky we have someone like him in the sport in our generation.

Never even heard of the dude he fought. But not the biggest boxing fan. More likely to find me following the K1 Kickboxing.

^yeah Guerrero wasn't really much of a 'heard of' fighter, which led some people to believe that Mayweather is cherry-picking unheard of fighters that are relatively inexperienced as his opponents to rack up easy wins. But Guerrero's last win was very impressive against Andre Berto, which led others (including myself) to believe that he was a good enough fighter to fight Mayweather. By the way, speaking of K1, I used to follow Buakaw Por Pramuk. You know the guy?

I was just disappointed with the Mayweather-Guerrero undercard fight between Rosado and Love. Love was given the win by the judges but everyone saw that Rosado clearly won that fight.
Also, another undercard fight that night was Mares-Deleon, which I thought was so and so. Mares came out that night like he was gonna win that fight. And surely he did by knocking out Deleon. And it was no surprise.
Controversial rumors about Mayweather started when he didn’t agree to fight Pacquiao (a Filipino boxing superstar). Mayweather’s camp defended his side by saying Pacquiao wanted a 50/50 split of the money, which they didn’t agree to because they’ve got higher credentials (one of them being that Mayweather is undefeated throughout his pro boxing career, while Pacquiao has already incurred 3 loses in his career during that time). The Mayweather side wanted at least a 60/40 split (60 for Maywather and 40 for Pacquiao), which the Pacquiao side turned down.
Mayweather’s next fight will be in September of this year, while Pacquiao will be fighting in China in November.

I think this is a really good fight. Canelo Alvarez is young and strong. Mayweather is skilled and experienced. Both fighters are UNDEFEATED throughout their pro boxing careers.
As I said in another forum, Canelo Alvarez is strong when the opponent is fighting him on the inside. So Mayweather will avoid going inside. He'd turtle against Canelo and land shots while fighting on the outside.
Here is a vid of Canelo fighting Lopez. And as you can see he dropped Lopez with those insanely strong liver-shots and kidney-shots!
