^LOL. Is that a pre-production photo or is the figure out? Cuz I've seen that happen with pre-production stuff before and get fixed for release.

Yikes, the production head on Mara is awful.
And now I get to try to find a Marvel Universe Black Widow for the head. Awesome.

Tamtel Skreej > Lando.
If you know who both those guys are, congratulations, you're a nerd.

I'm desperately trying to talk myself out of them. That 6" scale Jabba and Speederbike helped with that a lot though. If Jabba comes with his dias were looking at $70-$100 alone.
Never knew about Tamtel Skreej. I'm kind of disappointed in myself.

Jabba is an easy pass no matter what, never been a fan of his that I've gotten any of his figures. But the speederbike is a tempting thing even in the abstract right now. When I see it...fudge. That might be a buy.

I just found the Black Series Speeder Bike at Kmart. I never look for figures there because they never have anything, but I was there today to get some other stuff and walked down the toy aisle for shits and gigs, and there it was. They had Jabba too, but that figure is pointless without his throne so it's an easy pass. Still haven't seen a Stormtrooper in person though.

I saw the ROTJ Speeder at Target a few days ago. Man it looked so awesome. Jedi Luke is probably the only other figure I'll be picking up though.

A few weeks ago, right before Christmas, Target had the 6" Speeder Bikes and Jabba on sale so I picked up another speeder. Now I have 3 regular ones, plus the Shadow Squadron exclusive set. I think I may have a problem.

I saw at "Go Games, Puzzles, & More" which is one of those seasonal stores in malls that sell calendars, board games, and toys, had Speeders for 50% off of $44.99.

The "Force Friday" thing today was a total clusterfuck. I went to 5 stores looking for a 6" Kylo Ren, and none of them had a single Black Series figure on the shelf. So then I looked for the much less cool 3.75" Kylo, and no dice there either. I checked Target, 2 Kmarts, Walmart (swallowed my morals even walking into that godforsaken hellhole), and Barnes & Noble and out of all those stores I counted 8 of the 3.75 figures, and of those 8, 3 were the same figure from The Force Awakens (which looks like a crappy Kids Meal prize) and the other 5 were Darth Vader.
Disney and Hasbro have been hyping the shit out of today for weeks, and if my midsize college town is any indication they didn't even come close to meeting demand. Distribution on the 6" Black Series line has been a joke since it launched, but I thought for sure they'd work out the kinks for the new movie stuff. Nope. It sounds like most stores got 2 cases max, and some only got 1. So stores that were advertising midnight launches for this stuff didn't even have enough inventory for more than 9 or 10 people to get a single figure, let alone a full set. And if the first guy in line does grab the full set, then everybody else is even more fucked. Nice job, idiots.

Don't forget to factor in all the overnight stockers who aren't supposed to hide shit, and the lurking, greasy, swap meet Hot Wheels opportunists who hoard the shit to sell on eBay to idiots with money to waste.
I was bummed when I saw all the old Black shit on clearance and couldn't find a biker scout with speeder bike for $12. Only one I really wanted. Ah, well. No space anyway.

Damn. I just saw the speeder bike chillin' at Target last week and almost bought it solely because it was such a good deal, but decided against it since I have no plans of collecting Star Wars beyond the few Clone Wars figures I picked up for cheap. I totes would've gotten it for you. :/

Dag. Wish I'd said something sooner. lol Again, ah, well. Thanks for thinking of me though, Razdical. Stopped in at Target today for random shit, ran through the ravaged new SW areas and was unimpressed. Lots of empty real estate, pegs as far as the eye could see. There was even a separate section down by the garden area full of dumb garbage. Some guy was taking a pic of his kid behind the black X-Wing cockpit window display, that was about the most interesting thing going on with SW. Guys, I fucking HATE the whole LEGO-everything. That's what I realized today. LEGO can eat my ass and balls.

It's neat that Micro Machines are making a comeback with the new Star Wars movie. I still have my old ones in a toy box and they're always my nephews' favorite toys to play with when they visit. That's always made me wonder why they weren't around anymore, so it's pretty cool to see them randomly pop up on the shelves like this.

I saw a Chewie today and a whatshisface with the big mouth who is always breathing hard. Chewie sucks in every format, real or plastic. The actor's eyes are small and too close together and nowhere near as expressive as Mayhew's.
