Cool! I'm trying to complete The Incomplete Death's Head, too. I love that guy. Heh, I would have skipped the old Death' Head series if had I known Incomplete D.H. reprints them all, plus other early appearances.

Got a full 27 issue run of The Spectre (vol.4) today for a great price. Never read this series, as I am a big fan of ol' Specs and was annoyed they made Hal Jordan the Spectre. Figured it was finally time to give it a chance. The lot also included the annual from vol.2, as well as #0 and the annual from vol.3. The 3rd series is probably my all-time favorite comic, and I've been considering getting a second full run to have bound into hardcovers.

Thanks guys. You guys have some pretty cool collections yourselves. Today while I was looking up some things at my workplace (basically like my second home and where I store some of my things), I found some of my old comic hauls and thought I'll post them here, since I really haven't showed them before ever. Scarlet Spider #1 (first print - year 1995) Hey look that's me! Batman & Spawn (first print - year 1994) Don't know if they ever had reprints of this. But this is the first print. Sinestro Corps War COMPLETE (all first print w/ Chase covers) Let me see... I think I still have a lot of comics to dig up. I just don't know where to begin. I don't store them in one place only. So sometimes (oftentimes actually) I forget where I've put them.

After the last couple of weeks, my wallet is shot. The cool thing is, I got a free hardcover Dragon Age art book for free (39.99 retail!) for buying all of those Annihilation/War of Kings/Marvel "cosmic" comics.

(2009) #1 Annihilation (2006) #2 Annihilation: Conquest (2008) #1, 2 Annihilation: Conquest - Starlord (2007) #1, 2, 4 Guardians of the Galaxy (2008) #8-10, 13-17, 20, 21 Realm of Kings (2010) #1 Green Lantern Corps (2006) #46 Ultimatum (2009) #1 Inhumans (1998) #1 Black Widow (1999) #1 (signed) Fear Itself: Black Widow (2011) #1 Iron Man (2013) #8 Wonder Woman (2011) #6 (sketch variant) Deadpool (2008) #50 (blank cover variant) The Transformers (1984) #28 Transformers: Robots In Disguise (2012) #16 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2013) #1 War of Kings Saga (2009) #1 Annihilation: Saga (2007) One Shot Age of Ultron (2013) #6

Today at my workplace I found more of my old hauls (from the 90's). Now I just feel like posting pictures because y'know I'm a photographer at the Daily Bugle, remember? I always have a camera with me. Marvel Swimsuit Special (first print) X-Men 50th anniversary comic (first print) The Kingdom #1 (first print) Superman Red & Blue #1 (first print) Venom and the Scarlet Spider first encounter (first print) The Wedding of Cyclops and Jean Grey (first print w/ 3 ultra rare 'Cyclops Wedding' trading cards inside) Venom: The Madness (aka Venom vs Juggernaut) issues 1 - 3 (first print) Venom #1 (first print)

And of course one of my more recent hauls is this Marvel 2013 calendar (first print) which comes in very limited quantity. Here is the back Each page shows a different month and each one a unique Marvel artwork. So for this month for example it is April, so I’ll show you the April page in the calendar book – The Avengers! Now very important in buying comic books is that is has to be the ‘first print’ (meaning it’s not a reprint, obviously) to have a higher collector value. It doesn’t matter if your comic book is issue #1 or whatever, if it’s not the first print, it won’t hold much collection value. Of course some of you may already know this, but this tip is for the comic book newbie collectors. How do you know if it’s the first print? The number 1 at the end of the barcode.

^ thanks. Nice to know you got a good present from your dad. What I have most today are TPBs. I probably have enough TPBs to fill the entire floor area of my house if I tile them on the floor.

Picked up a few Superman books yesterday. Superman: Secret Origin Superman: Brainiac Smallville Season 11 vol. 1
I've only read Smallville Season 11 so far but it wasn't half bad. Kind of made up for that shit ending of the show.

So Secret Origin and Brainiac were really good but Brainiac ended on a pretty serious downer. Secret Origin would make a pretty sweet movie though.

Not really a haul, but was hanging out at a book store today killing some time and decided to read Superman: The Coming of Atlas TPB by the shelf. And I returned it right where I found it afterwards. It was great. It got me thinking that they should use more super-powered villains as Superman foes in the movies. Enough of Lex Luthor. Superman is too strong, and what gets people excited is when he fights enemies that are as Strong. After Man of Steel movie, a nice villain for the sequel would be Atlas! Then maybe Doomsday or Brainiac for the third film (if they're planning a trilogy).

Doomsday could be cool, but that would have to be the last movie, unless they resurrect him in either the next or the same film

He hasn't done that yet since we've gotten the awesome special effects for it.

Atlas should really be a contender for the next films. AND most importantly, let's hope these villains don't turn Harlem Shake. Coz that ain't good and the fans would hate the films forevah!
