Good ones, guys. I don't have the patience for posting them all but the covers that Dave Johnson did for 100 Bulets and Punisher MAX have been great. Always loved Geoff Darrow, Tim Bradstreet and Glen Fabry as well.

If McFarlane Toys had never been taken over by a Mexican drug lord to use it as a money-laundering front, they probably could have made a pretty cool box set of that Michonne cover.

I know Don, when I first met him I told him he was the Alex Ross of TF's. The whole thing with Dreamwave pisses me off, the comics were headed in a good direction. I like IDW, but it's not the same.

What Pat Lee did was terrible. IDW's TF is pretty good, but I was always kind of bummed they couldn't have brought in the same writers and picked up where the DW stuff left off.

Just read up on this cuz aside from being a bit too anime for me and looking best when it resembles Jae Lee's more recent style of inking, I never saw a huge problem with Pat Lee's art. It is crappy that he's used people and cheated them out of money but this thread's about the enjoyment of the art, yo.
EDIT: And oh yeah, his Wetworks cover I posted is waaaay better than his usual stuff, obviously due to Trevor Scott's amazing inks.

He's biggest issue aside from ripping people off was his own wasted talent, the guy can draw. Before I ever knew what happened with the company I met him at a convention. I had a comic for him to sign, he did, and when he signed it (we were standing outside) he placed it on his leg upside down, but it was signed right side up. When he actually did do work, it was always best when he took his time with it. I can't find a good size copy of the best example which was the announcement in Toyfare of Dreamwave doing TF comics.
