Finally found a Thor! ;D My Target just got these in. First time I'd seen one out in the wild. Cost me about $15, which doesn't seem that bad to me, all things considered. Pretty good, although I do wish the ankles and neck had better movement. It's not a huge issue, however. Just happy to finally have a Thor.

Finally got up the energy to post something... The Halo figures aren't very interesting this time around, so I won't talk about 'em here. Sinestro's cool, though. I'm glad Mattel put him into that last series of DC figures. I missed out on the first one. I got Godzilla vs. Biollante at K*Mart for $5.00. One of the best Godzilla movies, IMO. Halo 4's pretty fun, been playing it for a few weeks now. Almost done with the Legendary campaign playthrough. Probably gonna be my biggest time-sink for months to come.

Got a Christmas box from my wife's folks, and this was in there. The package was in terrible shape after having made it through the fire when the house burned down a few years back, but the figure is fine. Never had any Unleashed figures, but this thing is bad ass. Paint is great, and I love the eyes.

Thanks guys! That last shot was pretty hard to do, since the figures kept wanting to fall over. That Chewbacca is pretty cool. I never really got into the Force Unleashed stuff either, but they do look nice. Found this ornament at American Greetings. Priced down to $15 since it's so close to Christmas. It roars when you push a button on its neck. ;D Already found a place on my tree.

Christmas haul! Little Godzilla's a cute little fella. He doesn't have as much articulation as Godzilla or Spacegodzilla, but he's got enough to do quite a few poses. As for accessories, he's more of a glorified accessory pack for Spacegodzilla. He comes with two square plastic bases with holes in them to hold up the effect stands. They're kind of bland looking, but they work nicely. He also comes with four crystals, two of them large, and two of them small. Promotional pictures show these off by mimicking the "crystal prison" Spacegodzilla traps Little Godzilla in at the early part of Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla. I think it works better as a display piece with Spacegodzilla. The crystals have a pin joint at their bases, and can swivel around the plastic stands, so you can have them displayed in any position you could want. He looks good displayed with his daddy. Also, he likes to terrorize toys smaller than him. M.O.G.E.R.A is a character I didn't even think I would like as much as I do. Its design is pretty weird (My brother compared it to a vacuum cleaner; I think it looks more like a robotic penguin), but I happen to think it looks pretty cool as well. Its articulation is severely limited, but I'm okay with that since it doesn't really do anything really dynamic in the movie anyway. It has enough to get it into movie-accurate poses, and some of the joints are pretty ingeniously designed. Of particular note are the elbows, which are designed to look completely straight when straight out and curved when bent. It's kind of hard to explain in text, so maybe these pictures will help. It has a ton of accessories. To list them all, it has an extra set of hands that open up to show the removable Spiral Grenade missiles inside them, two contrails for the Spiral Grenades, a beam weapon that comes out of his chest, a separate chest piece for the beam's firing mechanism, pieces to switch M.O.G.E.R.A to flight mode, stands for the beam parts, and two bases that look like a city street intersection and some small buildings. The street and buildings are especially cool to me, and will probably see future use in more pictures. The method to switch out the chest pieces is also kind of ingenious. You have to pull out the figure's back panel and push on a tab that's hidden back there. The underside of the back panel is as nicely detailed as the rest of the figure, but that was kind of hard to photograph. It was kind of a neat surprise to see that when most companies wouldn't even bother detailing something that won't be seen most of the time. When you have the chest cannon in, it looks like this: The beam fits right over the cannon. Once you take the Spiral Grenades out, you can put the contrails in their place and put the grenades on the end of them. I must say, this is a nice effect. The effect ends up taking a full foot of space, so some room will need to be made if you plan on buying this and displaying it this way. Here is M.O.G.E.R.A in flight mode. The pieces are pretty easy to swap out, and look just as good as the normal stance. One more cool note about M.O.G.E.R.A is that some of his parts are diecast metal. His feet, knees, elbows, and drill nose are made of metal. Finally, a group shot of my SHMA figures, AKA the cast of Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla. Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays! ;D

No pics yet, but here's my Christmas 2012 Haul:
Lego R2-D2 Expendables 2/Amazing Spider-Man/Dark Knight Trilogy Blu-Rays Wii U Deluxe Edition Super Mario Bros Wii U Picked up ZombiU, Batman Armored Ed., & Blops 2 with store credit & BBRZ Complete/Loose 1988 Playmates TMNT Michaelangelo - big surprise from my wife Haribo Gummi Bears Lifesavers candy story book Pen from Acme Writing Tools that looks like a Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencil
For those that are on the fence about Wii U, so far I think it's fantastic. The use of the gamepad is truly interesting and it does cool things: you can control your tv and even play full games on the pad while someone else watches regular tv. The graphics are 100% beautiful 1080p and are rich and textured. I heard someone gripe that it still doesn't play DVDs but WHO GIVES A RIP!!! You can stream netflix, hulu, and amazon instant video right off the bat, granted that you subscribe already. You don't need it to play movies.

^That's a heckuva haul Tim! For PS3 I got: -Arkham City GOTY -Doom 3 BFG Edition -House of the Dead Overkill -Mortal Kombat Komplete -Resistance Collection -Move wand, nav, & sharp shooter And the Aliens Anthology blu-ray which my Mom lost lol. I got the Neca Crimson Head zombie w/ hunched over dog thanks to crazypredator2! The DC Direct Killzone Helghast Sniper (cloaked) was the deal of the year at $2! Still can't decide if I should open the Unimax Gamestars Red Faction figure. I think this might be one instance where it displays better in the packaging. And I posted the Mortal Kombat figures in the "Mortal Kombat figures suck" thread.

My Mom found the Alien Anthology blu-ray set in her closet lol. Got the Amazon $20 deal like a buncha ya. I didn't know it was a blu-ray book, it's really freaking nice! Can't wait to see Aliens in HD for the first time. And I opened this guy. The packaging was way more interesting than the figure itself, and he has crazy eyes; but I had the perfect base for him at least.

You're an awesome toy photographer, Alien! Love that Thor. That's one of the better Marvel toys I've seen in a long time. They did a great job of capturing Olivier Coipel's art.

Thanks Necro! Hey Nightmare, is that the BAF Arkillo? Yep! One of my favorite DC figures. ;D Found this at K-Mart for $10 I put off buying this one for the longest time, but I'm happy to have it now. It's Mothra Leo, from the Rebirth of Mothra films. He is the son of the original Mothra. This is his "Rainbow Mothra" form, one of several forms he takes throughout the Rebirth of Mothra series. The wings are kind of warped where they connect to the body, so there's a gap under the wings. It lets me do this, though, so I'm fine with it. Thanks for looking.

Snagged a loose Final Fantasy X Kimahri from a guy over at the unofficial spawn board. Compared to ebay prices, it was a steal at $30 dlvd. Also picked the "Art of Dead Space" hardcover today. Awesome book, highly recommend it to fans of the games.

Hey Nightmare, that the Marvel Select Thor? If so how is it to pose? It's Hasbro's "Marvel Legends" Thor. It poses pretty well, but the ankles are kind of restrictive, IMO. I've never seen the MS Thor, personally.
