Just looking at those on BBTS. I like the look, but I don't care about the character. And I realized, I don't like or care about any of the fire people in Marvel. Human Torch, Firestar, Firelord, Pyro, Sunfire. I guess Ghost Rider counts as one, and I like him alright. Huh.

I didn't like Pyro until he came back from the dead a few years ago. And yeah, aside from Ghost Rider, who I generally like, I don't like any of the fire characters much, either.

Not sure about the chances of it happening, but it would be cool if Hasbro put out an Ultraman figure in one of the Legends series.

Marvel (because of the Disney/Fox merger) is also gonna start publishing Alien and Predator comics. The promo images they released show them clearly within the Marvel universe... I doubt this means we'll get Legends figures of Predators and Aliens, and it would suck for NECA to get screwed over like that after having those licenses for so long.

The comics, or the outside possibility of a Marvel Legends Predator?

Both. I don't want to see Disney or Marvel getting their hands on Predator.

On a lighter note, the stands I got from Marauder Inc. are working really well. I tried a pack of the NECA big circular stands while waiting on the others and they were no good. Didn't fit anything well, the peg was too skinny and tall. But these are a good fit. They take a little work in some cases, mostly Legends, but that's better. And so far no one has toppled over.
It's great that they have 2 pegs for 6" and 3-3/4" figures. Cheapest and most effective I've found. I also got a bitchin' tan and white sniper rifle that'll probably go to regular version Roadblock.
Ooh, I also grabbed Grandmaster for $12. He's neat.

You weren't kidding about the size of Kingpin. Plus, on that oversized Spidey card the whole thing is massive.

There's some great figures in the upcoming House of M Powers of X wave. One of them is this one. However there's a rather weird problem. Omega Sentinel's real name is Karima Shapandar. She's not white. She's from India and has brown skin and black hair. Pretty huge oversight. My hope is that if enough people say something there can at least be a running change to correct that extra head, because the sculpt is cool as fuck. And I can't imagine Hasbro wants to offend anyone, especially from a racial standpoint. Personally, I just want a figure that looks like the character in the comics.

I haven't read any X-Men comics in years so I have no clue who those characters are, but that's a cool figure and I always like it when Hasbro includes parts to turn one figure into multiple characters so that's cool too. But the highlight of the reveals last week was the new MODOK: Thankfully he's not a BAF so he'll cost a fraction of what buying a full wave would cost, and he's AWESOME.

Thing is, the photos I posted above are all supposed to be the same character. And like I said, she was never a white woman like the colors on that Britney Spears head seem to portray. It's not like you to respond to a post without reading it too carefully, ok.

I got that, unless the head with the long hair and the head with the red face is the same character, then I missed that part. Like I said, I haven't read current X-Men comics in years. And given how many repaints they've been doing lately, I'd say the chances of a more accurate skintone and hair color are pretty high, especially if it doesn't mean any new sculpting or tooling.

Exactly the same character. She gets the red face in the Powers of X storyline when she becomes more Sentinel than human again.

Grabbed a not-mint Hulk/Wolverine set for $44 off Entertainment Earth. I had a Colossus for $17 (last one) in the cart and knew I should check out but I looked for a couple minutes longer and it disappeared. Ah, well. No biggie.

I've got a 4" Hulk, 2 Selects, the new Red Hulk and gray She Hulk, but no Legends Hulk. So getting a great version of each of those characters at that price was an easy buy.

Hulk/Wolverine arrived today and it's fantastic! Box has a couple of mildly donked corners on the backside and a crease in the bottom - looks like a manufacturing thing. And then one of Wolverine's claws had fallen out, but it was still inside the box so I put it back on and it's all groovy. It displays nicely in the box so it can stay like that until I make some space.

Man, the newest Iron Man wave is donkey doo-doo. They look great as always, but nothing I want. I'm still hoping for an Ultraman wave at some point, but I don't know what sort of contracts they have for the property. Though I do see more widespread merch coming out, so it's possible. Yeah, I know. It's another guy in a metal suit, more or less, so why shit on Iron Man. Simple. Because he's not Ultraman and I don't want Iron Man.

I'd be all over that Ultron if it was a later design or if it didn't have that fucking piggy snout (not talking about the nostrils. I know Ultron had nostrils for years) that I think Kirby only gave the character one fucking time. I also have a little bit of a nostalgia tug for that Modular Iron Man, even though I don't really give a shit about Iron Man, because it's the suit design from the '90s cartoon starring Robert Hays.

Found MODOK at Target today. He comes in so many pieces it’s almost like model kit, but he’s plenty big and looks completely ridiculous and I love it.
They also had the Shang Chi wave but I was so stoked to find MODOK I didn’t get any of those (plus Target jacked the price up to 22.99).

^ Nice find. Hate to admit it, but that AI Iron Man looks really neat with the helmet on and I might have to get it. Clean and simple design looks sharp.

Not into much of the latest stuff. I haven't liked anything Thanos based om the movies. Not sure what it is, on-screen he looks fine to me but the figures are not appealing. I got the first BAF because all of the figures were there that day, but he's packed away.
New Wanda and SamCap both look really good. And the realization of many of the others is very good, just not into the characters enough or at all.

All the Hasbro movie Thanoses (Thani?) have been pretty crappy. Something about the bulky character design in a realistic style must be tricky to pull off.

I haven't bought any, but the McFarlane DC stuff is looking fantastic. In general, I agree, but I also think the ball joints at the wrists and ankles look fucking ridiculous, and I can't stand his hyper focus on Batman. There's an entire multiverse of characters out there, but Todd can't pull his nose out of one corner of it.

And they keep picking the ugliest versions of characters to make. I guess they fit McF’s grim & gritty aesthetic, but they just look like shit.

The Batman figure that Todd designed himself with all the gold and the goggles and all the fucking knives is one of the dumbest looking figures I've in the last fifteen years.
