SUP! I didn't actually know this board was still up until a friend told me they're both running (been on spawnboards mostly) I hear it's a bit more... liberal here... Nice. Haha. Good to see a photography forum, here's some of my stuff. I haven't shot in months though because I'm working on purchasing the lens I like, which carries a pretty hefty price tag. I'm not sure if we can post nudies so here's a link photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/110409/01/4da01ca0679e4.jpg

Nude images, topless or otherwise, as art or otherwise, are not allowed as per Pro Boards TOS. We're as liberal as the rules allow, but that's the thing, there are rules. And, yeah, we've been here for almost 3 years, poopyface!

Also, you should probably have a "model release form" on hand (if you don't already).
Are you on MM yet?
Welcome to the board! ;D

Ah, I got the lights I'm using off Kijiji... $250... not bad, perfect for what I need right now, but I need bigger and stronger lights for full body shots
Also grabbed 1000w construction site work lights at home depot on sale for $19.99 but haven't used those yet

My advice is to go with something like this... www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005LT6UPY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A117K1DEQYNJIS strobes are a lot more efficient and easy-to-use then constant lighting. And this particular model comes with a battery pack and stand for under $400 (which is just about unheard of for one that actually has good reviews). This plus a 300 to 600 W slave, for backlighting and fill, and a couple umbrellas/ portable soft boxes will provide you everything you need to shoot full body in just about any environment. And for flash triggers I highly suggest the 16 channel up to 4 light "flash fire" system, it works really well with shutter speeds up to 1/180th, beyond that I've noticed a couple of sync issues but for model flash photography you shouldn't really need to be shooting faster than that anyway...plus it's going to save you a crap load of money over the pocket Wizard system. You might already know all of this, but I think it's nice to share info

Got the camera as a gift around Christmas and I've used it a max of 10 times, and I've only used DSLR cameras maybe... 14 times ever... I know I DO hate flash though, I like the constant light because I can place it better and know what I'm getting into with the picture, feel I have more control over it, but I guess with more fashion related stuff the brighter the better, I'll experiment still but it's expensive to even do just that, I bought my lights because renting lights cost $50 less than buying the pair I got... ridiculous! lol
