So here's a sample of the photography work that I've been doing over the last month.
I use the Nikon D7000, with a battery pack and series of different lenses. All the photos are technique, NOT Photoshop. I come from a fine arts background, but do have some training in commercial and graphic design, but up until three months ago absolutely no experience with anything more complicated than a point and shoot camera. Mostly what I've been pushing myself towards is the ability to create and or capture composition, and then be technically proficient enough with the camera to pull it off without massive amounts of postproduction.
The next technique that I'm going to be experimenting with is "HDRI".
I have basically gone from 0 to 60 in just over a month, and have actually been making quite a few contacts... With any luck I'll have some of the stuff published by the end of July ;D
