I get it for free for a couple months since I have Verizon!
Still enjoying Ash Vs Evil Dead, but I'm kinda not feeling the rock soundtrack. I wish the entire soundtrack was orchestral and spooky so that it could mesh well with the original movies, because almost everything else in the show does.
I've been highly skeptical of the Watchmen show. Also, The Boys, because I loved that series, but I've heard so many good things about the show. Anyone see that?

Gawd damn, loved The Mandalorian’s first episode. Figured it was in good hands with Dave Filioni after his work on The Clone Wars.

The 2nd episode is good too, though I was a little bummed that it was shorter than the first.

That baby Yoda is the perfect thing to introduce during the new channel's honeymoon period and right before Christmas. They're going to make billions just from that adorable little sucker. Finished "Living With Yourself" with Paul Rudd. Really dug it, but I hope if they do another part that it stays weird, and they don't normalize what happened.

I guess there's the whole perspective of reconciling the contradictions we all have within us, and learning to recognize the things about ourselves that we could work on. We can't just bury the things we don't like. But all that aside, it was just a fun Rudd vehicle. I like the guy and it was nice to see him have such an open canvas to have fun with. Also, why the fuck doesn't the FDA have a sink in their milking room?!

Also, still loving Ash Vs Evil Dead. On Season 2 now. Anyone else watch it?

I'm sad it got cancelled. The stunt double for the main girl character (forgot her name atm) follows me on Instagram. I thought that was pretty cool. I learned of the cancellation through her Instagram before it was announced.

Watchmen is the best fucking thing on television since the Americans ended. It's so weird and brilliant.

I'm seriously shocked at how good it is. It almost makes me want to go back and re-read those Before Watchmen books to see if the show acknowledges them at all (but I won't because those books are shit).

That last Watchmen might be the best episode of TV I’ve seen all year. Can’t wait for the finale.

I tried. Watched 5 episodes. But The Witcher was just fucking horrible for me. Between the thick accents with every other word being a made up fantasy word about a place or person for which there was zero context, and the clumsy storytelling approach itself, I had to give up.

Neccy. I had no idea that Locke & Key was being made as a series on Netflix. Coming Feb 7th. Was just thinking about rereading them.

I finally watched band of brothers since it's included with amazon iw. Binged it in 2 days.
I see why it's one of the top rated tv shows of all time. Completely enthralling from beginning to end.

First three eps of L&K were solid fun. The amount of whatthefuckery is pretty high and keeps it moving. Very good visual translation from the comic.

Man, people keep telling me to watch it. hmmm.. I had no interest to begin with, but now... The biggest drawback for me is how the timeline is portrayed. It can be difficult to follow the story at times because you don’t always know when things are happening.

Watched the first season of the Castlevania series. Solid start so far.
Can't wait for the Devil May Cry series whenever they get around to it.

Started the October Faction. Meh. I wanted to stick with something offbeat after L&K, but this isn't really hitting the mark. The actors who play the main couple are good, I really like them together. They have a good chemistry. But the premise is a little too goofy and their kids are fucking insufferable turds. I'll finish it since it's short.

Need to find something else to watch now. Might dig into some of the dozens of British series that keep popping up.
I was ready to pull the trigger on Disney+ yesterday, but then I started thinking about how it would work. We have 2 TVs in the den, and my wife sits at her desk. We have the cable split so we can watch the same thing, and we have a BR player hooked up and split so we can watch Netflix on both TVs.
But I can't figure how to do that with D+ yet. No new BR players come with a browser that I could use, and there's no guarantee that a browser on one of those would be able to process the channel correctly.
We could do a really convoluted process of dialing up something on the PS4s and pausing one and letting the other catch up and then hitting play, hoping to get them synced. But that's a fuckin' pain.
She suggested a cheap laptop, and it would work the same as the BR player. But that's just one more thing.

If you haven't seen the HBO Watchmen series, go watch it because HOLY SHIT it's good. Same with the Chernobyl series from last year.
I canceled my Disney+ subscription after realizing I'd paid for a whole month where I didn't use the service once. I'll pick it back up once the Marvel shows start launching.
Also, Better Call Saul is back and just as good as ever. The El Camino movie was a nice little dip back into that world, but at this point I'm 100% invested in Kim and Ignacio and Lalo, characters that we didn't see in Breaking Bad. Last night's episode had a scene with Kim that made me VERY nervous.

Weird and kind of sad seeing the two characters from Breaking Bad show up in the last episode (don't want to spoil it for anyone).

Damn, I need to get back into BCS. I didn't know the Ignacio character who he referenced in his first episode of Breaking Bad finally made it into the show. Cool.
