Ha! No, the actual Butters. South Park did a couple episodes based on GOT stuff, and Butters went to the author's home to ask him why he had to have so many floppy wieners on the show all the time.

Oh! HAHAHAHA, will have to find those episodes. Am I the only one thinking South Park has gotten better the past couple seasons?

I don't catch it enough to be able to say, but I've been less entertained overall by the last several seasons than I was before.

Same, from what I've seen, in the past couple seasons it's become hit or miss.

Few and far between, for me, where they find that solid line between too preachy and too intentionally meaningless.
That Randy episode about making football safe with galactic levels of sarcasm seemed almost to be mocking that side of the pendulum of the show. But I wonder if that was just a coincidence that they've gotten too big to miss.

Exactly, and that last Goth Kids episode seemed like they had no point and just gave up. The last really good one I saw was the toilet seat episode.

Which characters would you most and least like to see in figure form?
I'm not quite sold on either line, but there's a chance I might get into Dark Horse's. I must like the Night's Watch story the most because when I think of characters I'd like figures of, the first that come to mind are Samwell, Ygritte, and Commander Mormont. If any of those were announced to accompany Jon Snow, I'd be more inclined to pick some up.
And for laughs, least wanted:
- Joffrey - Sansa - Theon - Hodor

I'd like figures of the two original video game characters, they're seriously some of the most interesting and awesome characters in the GoT universe. No one knows what I'm talking about ofcourse, but look forward to more ridiculous praise for the Game Of Thrones game when I beat it tomorrow probably. All Game Of Thrones fans should try to snag it on sale for $6.99 before the PS Store updates.

Dark Horse series 2 reviewed: www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_040714a.htmKhal Drogo looks great, but I dunno if he's essential enough to own. Ned & Tyrion are easy passes because the likenesses just aren't quite there. And Tyrion's pose sucks, the map he's holding covers most of the figure. Hopefully they'll do a scarred version in the future that gets more of his character across. And the bases should be a lot more creative than those mounds of dirt, especially since the figures aren't removeable. Disappointing wave, but I'd still like to get Jon Snow.

Yeah, the Dark Horse statues are pretty underwhelming. Drogo is way too clean (they should've put some blood spatter on him) and with Tyrion the map he's holding covers up half the sculpt. Bad design work. I'd be tempted to get Ned Stark if the face/hair sculpt were a little better.
The bases are boring too. In order for me to get an unarticulated plastic statue the base needs to be really cool, like the old Star Wars Unleashed figures. Maybe give Tyrion a taller base to give the half-man some more value, like a section of the Aerie skycell or something.

Agreed, but they kick the Funko figures' asses at least. For me, the ones where Dark Horse nails the likeness are worth considering, but there are only a handful of characters I'd really want figures of anyway. The upcoming Arya looks spot-on in the preview pics so that's another strong maybe. I'd like to see how unremovable they are from the bases, being able to swap for something more interesting would be a big plus.

I picked up Tyrion a while back, and he's pretty cool. Fairly sturdy and decently painted. Terrible beard app, but oh well. The eyes aren't wonky, so that's nice. Also, snapped the axe in half because it was so brittle.
I'd pick up a few more of them Funkos. Not bad figgers.

I didn't think Funko would outdo Dark Horse but, at least in Tyrion's case, they did.

Word on the street is GoT Legacy series 2 is a HUGE improvement over series 1. I haven't seen any in person yet, but I've seen a few in-hand pics and they look really, really good. The likeness on Arya is uncanny.
