Some of those Blu-ray box sets have been insanely cheap lately. The Alien Anthology set has been around $20-$25 for a while (I bought it in 2010 for $70 because I am a sucker), and a few weeks ago I got the Dark Knight Trilogy Super-Fancy Edition at Best Buy for $50. I almost got the box set of all four Terminator movies because the price was so good, but I managed to resist that one.
Awesome Blu-ray mini-haul over the weekend was the Criterion Collection 1954 Godzilla for $16 from Amazon. I liked the new one so much I figured I should finally see the original, and this seemed like the way to go. It also has the 1956 American version with dubbed dialogue and added actors on the same disc, but the Japanese original is what I'm really looking forward to finally seeing.

Had a long lunch yesterday so I swung by the Best Buy down the street and picked up a couple of cool Steelbooks for Blues Brothers and The Big Lebowski. Both are a couple of favorite movies. Pretty cool simple and clean minimalist artwork and only $10 each.

Last Blurays I bought were The Desolation of Smaug Extended Edition (much better than I remembered), 7-Movie Nightmare on Elm Street Collection, Halloween 35th Anniversary Edition, and I preordered the new edition of Batman '89 with the awesome NECA figure.
I was hoping to get a few more horror movies around Halloween time when Best Buy had a bunch on sale but they kept selling out. I really want that new edition of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre but it's never in stock.

It is the most awesomeist steelbook evers.
Best Buy will have a US version but it has Guardians of the Galaxy plastered across the front which kinda kills the over all Walkman presentation IMHO.

Yeah, I saw a thing for this a while back and grabbed it just for the silly coolness of it. Arby's broadcast a 13-hour commercial of a brisket being smoked, and eventually put it, along with am 8-hour turkey being smoked, onto a 6-disc collection that you could order for free. So I did. I doubt I'll ever play it, but it'll look neat mixed in with my other movies, as well as my Burger King games for the XBox. :rofl

It was just too silly to pass up. Instead of the video fireplace that people play during Christmas I'm going to have a brisket smoking in the background. lol
