They were only on screen for about a minute. My favorites will always be Scout Troopers, Snowtroopers and TIE Fighter pilots.

It got here yesterday. I cleaned it really well, but broke the old plastic nut when trying to put new strings on it. Ran up to Guitar Center, got a new graphite one and was good to go. I was planning to swap out the pickup with one from Iron Gear, possibly a Metal Machine. But after playing with the one that's in there now through JamUp for a bit, it puts out some really nifty noises. I wanted to swap all the hardware to chrome, I can get a chrome DiMarzio Super Distortion and a chrome mounting ring. Not sure where I want to go with it now...

This is what I've done to it. Swapped out the pickup and mounting ring for a metal one, black bridge, tuners, strap buttons and added a bitchin' volume knob. I'm waiting on a black string tree, but that's easily doable even with the strings on it. I was just impatient. Now I wish I could change the KRAMER logo from gold to black. Might get a decal, but then I've got to seal it really well. Meh.

I got the Mezco One:12 Collective Judge Dredd since it's like half the retail price on Amazon and I wanted to test the waters to see if I should get their new Punisher which looks amazing. After this one, I'm sold on the line. The articulation's kind of limited depending on the costume, but the quality is crazy for Marvel Legends' scale. The best part is I'd expect them to be on the fragile side, but they feel more sturdy than most other figures. I don't collect Funko Pops, but I had to have Cable. I've always wanted the Darkness II Darkling statue and they had one lying around at work so I worked out a deal and got to take it home. I got these 2 Neca boxed sets for xmas.

Oh yeah, I also got my new (used) ride. 2007 Dodge Caliber. Nothing too fancy, but it's the best car I've ever owned so I really like it. I'd been looking for the right car for like the past year and finally found the right deal. Also, that's a sweet looking guitar frin.

Raz is back! Thank god, I was afraid you were trapped under a boulder in the Catskills or something.
My most recent hauls have been from the Figuarts Star Wars line. I've always wanted to check these out, but the prices on BBTS are pretty insane. 70-80 bucks for a 6" figure is too rich for my blood, even if the sculpts and articulation are some of the best I've ever seen. But then I discovered that on eBay and Amazon you can get them for $30 bucks cheaper depending on the figure, so over the past month I've bought a few. I have Darth Maul (he was still pretty pricey), Kylo Ren, and Jango Fett. Maul is seriously incredible with two amazing headsculpts, and one intact double-bladed saber and two separate halves, which is cool. Kylo is equally great, with enough articulation in the torso and arms to get some pretty badass two-handed saber poses. Jango is also cool, but not nearly as good as the other two. His armor really restricts his articulation and the helmet seems like it sits too close to his shoulders. I think I'm gonna stick to Jedi/Sith figures from this line from now on. I have my eye on AOTC Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, ANH Luke, and ROTJ Luke if I can find one for a good price.

Been wondering about you, too, Razzmo. Love that Dredd. The Caliber is cool. We were looking at those when we got the Escape. I even managed to find red strings for the guitar.

Seeing the significantly cheaper Amazon price is what sold me on the Mezco Judge Dredd as well. Been wondering about you, too, Razzmo. Love that Dredd. The Caliber is cool. We were looking at those when we got the Escape. I even managed to find red strings for the guitar. Thanks frin! I still can't believe it's all mine. Which Escape do you have? They look really cool too. Hatchbacks have always been my favorite and I'm seeing some interesting color options.

I forgot about this haul. Found this at a Gamestop in VA and couldn't pass up the price. I also got the new Marvel Legends Rogue there for $12.

Target had the new Guardians of the Galaxy figures last night, so of course I grabbed Yondu. He's everything I could possibly want from a Michael Rooker toy. He comes with two heads, one with the short mohawk from the first movie and one with the taller mohawk from GOTG2, and as it that weren't cool enough the GOTG2 head is whistling, like when he's using his cool whistle-activated arrow weapon thing. And the arrow thing comes attached to a translucent orange trail that plugs into the arrow's holster, like when he's threatening that poor shopkeeper. Really the only thing this figure is missing is a tiny troll doll. The BAF for the wave is someone called Titus who I've never of, but a better name would be SPACE MAN-TIGER WITH HUGE GUN ARM!!! I have no idea who Titus is, but I kinda want to get the rest of the wave because giant space man-tiger.
The rest of the wave looked nice too. Angela looked good (though I'm still super-confused why she's a Marvel character now), the new Starlord has an insanely good Chris Pratt likeness, there's a new Drax that looks like the exact same figure as the last one but with a new yelling head and a new gun, the teenage Nova is cool, another character I didn't recognize that looks like Space Captain America (man, I'm really behind on current Marvel continuity...), and FUCKING DARKHAWK!!! Dammit, I shouldn't have left Darkhawk at the store. Darkhawk is stupid-awesome 90s Marvel at it's most stupidly awesome.

I want that Darkhawk. I posted a while back in here about finding 22 or 23 of the first 25 issues of the comic. Good stuff.
Titus isn't familiar at all.
Neil Gaiman ended up winning the rights to Angela from Todd and I guess he let Marvel have her.

I saw the Angela figure with the rest of the GOTG the other day, except for Darkhawk. It was weird seeing a Todd thing realized in plastic in the MU. And on that note, today I received issues 12, 13, 14 and 19 that I was missing of the first 25 issues of Darkhawk. Got them from My Comic Shop in today's mail. For the $6.50 I spent with a low $4.95 UPS via USPS shipping fee I paid, I was very impressed with their service. They were bagged and boarded in a solid reinforced comic box, in sealed plastic and then wrapped in lots of brown paper, and faced so the boards were facing out both directions. Like, twelve bucks total, and they treated it like they're actually worth something. Thumbs up.

Nice. I'm still filling in the holes of my Ghost Rider collection and it's always appreciated when comics are taken care of when you have them mailed to you.

Need to get some bags and boards for the rest. Just cuz. We hit a Walmart in Oro Valley tonight that we don't often go to because it ain't close, and among all the other stuff we got, they had a Legends Darkhawk. Got him. They also had Yondu, which looks awesome, Jackal, which was neat to see, UK Spidey, other 2099, Spidey Black, and some other stuff. Shocker was also impressive. If I'd wanted to spend that much, I would've gotten Shocker, alt-2099, black Spidey, Quill, Drax, Vance Astro. I also really like the fact that Darkhawk has the head of Titus (also don't know who the fuck he is). It looks so much cooler than an arm or a codpiece. Glad I got actual Nova when he was out, instead of this anime-adjacent baby version.

You can never have enough bags and boards man. Learned that the hard way.
As far as Legends go I never see much past the MCU Doctor Strange wave. Think I may have seen some of that new Spidey wave once though. What I wouldn't give for an updated Dan Ketch Ghost Rider and NOT that lame modern blue flame version they made a few years back. The REAL one from back in the 90s that kicks ass. Could never find the old Legends version from back when they came with comics.

Last night at Target I found an exclusive Star Wars Black figure I had no idea existed. The Imperial AT-ACT Driver from Rogue One. I don't remember seeing this guy in the movie, but I'm a sucker for Imperial troops so I grabbed one. It's just the head from one figure on the body of another figure with a new paint job, but still different enough to look cool.
I also got a new charger cable for my phone that doesn't work for shit. But at least the figure is cool.

- I'm caught up on the new Guardians figures.
- I got the Mattel Suicide Squad assembled except for the rare El Diablo.
- I finally found NECA Gordon Freeman at a reasonable price and now that I've beaten Half-Life 2 I felt worthy of buying it.
- I picked up the AvP Serpent Hunter Predator because I never thought I'd see the day that they'd make a figure from this severely underrated game. I'm leaving it in the box to commemorate that fact.
- And I couldn't miss out on the Previews Exclusive Mezco One:12 Punisher. He came with so many weapons I had to build a little gun rack to hold 'em all.

Double check your Pred.. if the top left tooth is broken like many of the first runs were, contact Neca and they'll swap it out for an undamaged one.
Personally didnt do it, due to thinking it added to the figure.

Thanks frin! Gotta ward off the bday depression, right? ^_^
This Play Arts Kai Rorschach is fucking amazing. The fact that you have to build the display base yourself when it's a $100+ figure (now closer to $300 on the secondary market) is complete bs and I'm throwing these parts in the trash, but the figure itself is unparalleled. I'm glad to find the joints are tight and there's no fear of breakage, as my previous Play Arts Kai purchases have all had loose wobbly feeble joints and felt extremely cheap despite the exorbitant price-tag.
The Scarlet Gospels is like the AvP of the Barker-verse. That sounds bad lol, but it's Pinhead from Hellraiser vs. Henry D'Amour, the supernatural investigator from Lord of Illusions. I read the first couple chapters and it seems pretty over the top; okay ridiculously over the top, but still like that old Barker goodness. It should be a fun time.
