I like this 5 pack. Especially the army zombie. And I was thinking with Daryl the pieces might be swappable with the other one to get some different poses, which could be cool. I was trying to come up with other licenses McF could make figures in this scale for and military would be awesome. Other than that Halo seems the most likely, which I wouldn't be into, but with Destiny's armor designs and creatures those would be fun to collect. I just like that they're cheap and you can fit a bunch into a display, reminds me of the Micro Machines figures back in the day.

I thought I posted these before, but I must not have. As you guys know, I've been trying to collect just about all of the DC Collectibles Arkham figures, I'm starting to think that might be over though. The character designs aren't really blowing me away this time around and a couple are too similar to even warrant new figures. I'll probably come around on a couple of them but I'm pretty bummed that my desire to continue completing the line is gone. Arkham Knight Series 2: Arkham Knight Series 3 is here, but I'm not embedding them because they could be spoilers for the side-missions: (I was pissed that I saw one so be warned.) toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=10&itemid=24968

Yeah you gotta be careful with that shit. One of those in series three was a complete "HOLY SHIT" moment for me in the game. Especially how he was introduced. Fucker damn near gave me a heart attack.

I think I know which one you're talking about. If so, that wasn't spoiled for me luckily. I was gliding around earlier and saw what I thought was a bird or something so I flew closer and had that same "HOLY SHIT!" moment. Then I promptly did all of those missions because that shit was awesome lol. Hope that's the one you're talking about. I'm still unsure about the design though, it's cool but I'm not sure if I want the figure of it. The one that was spoiled for me was the identity of the serial killer; I really didn't expect that character to make it into the games.

And I didn't see the other one coming either so I sorry to hear that was ruined for you.

Wow, I just found that they're finishing the Arkham Origins crew by releasing this 3-pack with Electrocutioner, Shiva, and Dr. Harleen Quinzel. This is very unexpected, I kinda like it. Not quite as cool is gouging everyone with this 5-pack of re-releases to get a Bruce Wayne figure.

I didn't think it was possible to trigger those side missions until he just appears out of nowhere. I discovered it by grappling up to a rooftop, and just as I got to the top he stuck his head out and shrieked. It startled the holy bejeezus out of me. I knew that character was in the game because one of the reviews mentions him, but I didn't know about his jump-scare introduction.

Interesting, I guess you can stumble upon him flying around. I heard his shrieking right after the last Poison Ivy cutscene but had no idea what it was until I ran into him at like 90% story completion. Also, I think Poison Ivy was my favorite character in the game. I've never imagined her as that much of a threat before but she kicked tanks' asses.

No one will care about this, and I shouldn't either now that the GoT sets have been announced, but I guess I'm going to continue collecting the McF Walking Dead building figures since it's too darn fun and affordable. I was disappointed to find that series 2 of the blind bag figures has 6 zombies and 2 humans, but they're damn cool and distinct zombies so it's hard to stay mad. I thought Michonne's other pet would be in this wave though, that would've been nice. Oh yeah, I got Carl last night, so I have all of wave 1 of the blind bags.

That's a good idea. It's not too hard to feel for the right one. Some of the limbs can throw you off, but I've only guessed wrong once or twice.

Damn, McF WD Building Figures blind bag series 3 is even better. It's hard to even prioritize which I'd like most, these are all great additions. Anyone know who the masked guy is? One of the Governor's men? Terminus guy?

For Batman Day (when did that become a thing?) Mezco Toyz was offering mystery boxes for $20 that could contain anything from their goofy Mez-Itz Batman figures to their 1:12 Dark Knight Returns figures, including rare variants worth a couple hundred bucks. I thought this would be a fun thing to take a gamble on, but it went live an hour ago and is already sold out. That's no fun.

I already have the black/gray and blue/gray versions of that One:12 figure, but it's so damn amazing I would've spent $20 on a chance at another one. Next time maybe don't let people buy these boxes 5 at a time and there'll be more to go around.

^Seriously, I saw it was 5 per order, and I don't even know if they limited the number of orders people could make. That's just begging scalpers to buy a bunch at once so they can sell the good stuff. It's such a bummer because it was one of the coolest deals I've seen in a while.

Mezco is always pretty dickish with their exclusives, almost like they cater directly to the scalpers. Years ago they did an exclusive 6" comic Hellboy with a cloth trenchcoat and floating Japanese heads (it's Hellboy, it makes sense in the story, I swear) and it took me YEARS to track one down for a reasonable price.
And they're doing the same thing again with the One:12 Batman figures. They make the coolest figure I've seen in years, but they make so few of them that the price skyrockets within months.

Did they make the animated Hellboy figures too? I randomly walked into Best Buy one time and found both animated movies and a HB figure in a set. Awesome day. Really like the Abe too.

I know they did figures for the movies and the comics, so they probably did the animated ones too. I only have the comic line though. It only lasted for two series but it's maybe my favorite line ever. They perfectly captured Mignola's style in 3D.

It looks like Mezco has more mystery boxes going up for pre-order at 10am EST tomorrow. These ones are Halloween themed. I'm not sure that I'll be into anything offered but for $20 I'm slightly considering trying to order one in time.
