That's not entirely true.
My issue isn't that I don't want to try, but the fact that I just don't want to take all that time to read a story. Like I said, I love one shots, paperback stories.
But i'm not someone who picks up unknown things and jumps in, because that's not who I am.
So If I wanted to read Batman....wherewould I start? It's such a daunting task that would cost a ton of money, or having to torrent something, which is frustrating for me on another level.
Comics aren't my thing. Games are kinda my thing. But have ceased due to me having no money, and getting burned too much on crap.

I'm only looking forward to this because of Nolan North voicing DP. Also "More bouncy!!!"

But like you said, it's a time issue and comics aren't a top priority and the urge to go out and buy one has to strike you before any of that happens, so I get that.

I know I could. But the thing is, it's just there's so much time put into something I just don't want to do that much.
Now, if I asked you, "Which Batman Paperback is worth picking up?"
I'd be all over that.

I've made threads multiple times about what story arcs and paperbacks are good. I don't get in the single issues myself, i just read back-stories and certain plotpoints on the internet when I need things filled in or am confused about whats coming up in hollywood. you don't have read every issue to be a fan. I'm a big Spidey and Batman fan, but i haven't actually read a whole lot of comics, I own certain papers and novels that tickle my fancy, the rest of my knowledge came from the internet. anyway, DEADPOOL looks GREAT!!

I'd be all over that. Hah, that's nice of you to say but I'm not the best person to ask. I think "Hush" is great for the amazing Jim Lee art but a lot of people seem to hate the story, and I like "Batman/Deathblow: After The Fire" because it has Deathblow. A true Batman fan would probably think those are weak choices.

I'm cool with that, it's just I hate when they give him the Terminator face and it looks like he's dressed as a giant Twinkie.

Saw some gameplay and I'm not impressed. Hope it's at least decent. It's got two big things going against it.
1. $50 price point. 2. Activision is known to make some terrible games. They make all the Marvel movie games.

Also, I hope to god, Cable doesn't look like that in the game. The cover art is horrendous.

They make all the Marvel movie games. It's made by High Moon studios who made the critically acclaimed Transformers Cybertron games. Activision's the publisher because they hold the Marvel licenses.

Well I read that Activision fired the entire Deadpool staff right after they completed the game so your concerns may be valid yet.

Shit, sounds like what EA did to a guy I know after NFS:World came out, fired his whole team that developed it

The reason is that these companies are "constantly shifting assets", which translates to "are the devil". Probably doesn't reflect on the work at all, just didn't have a next project lined up for them to work on.

^ What was the reason? They just did a crappy job? From what I understand the game bombed pretty badly and the crew took the blame. Never really played any NFS games other than Underground so couldn't tell ya how it was

^ I WAS a huge fan of NFS until they released NFS:World!
Hey, read you played Deadpool in MvC3, how's it? I haven't played MvC3. Is control easy? I watched the fights on video and it looked busy and complex. LoL

Why didn't you like MFS:World? Love MvC3 mate, I recommend getting the Ultimate edition, all the dlc is included on the disk. Its like any fighting game really, once you get used to the controls its alot of fun. It can get complex to in the huge combos and all that but a blast when your drunk and playing your buddies

I'll wait for a review. Every game I was interested in was just not that good to fucking horrible. Reviews will let me know the truth.

I don't always don't go with the reviews. Look at Kingdoms of Amular. Got massacred in the reviews, but I think its one of the best rpg's I've ever played

60 bucks is a lot of money. And i'm not much of a gamer, so I do trust the reviews. Score wise.
But I did really dislike Halo 4...so I don't know...Hmm...
