To me, Spawn-The Beginning statue is the one I can't forgive McFartland for. I know many people didn't like it or wanted it, but that is the one McTurdchunk product I would get, even if they release it in 30 years from now.

I remember a CS Rep from McDouchebag saying in their newsletter that they will honor the original preorders placed. I had it in for two of the hand signed statues... So now we have to start all over again I guess... With every day, my dislike for Turd grows larger and larger.

Well, to be fair, I do not know whether they will honor previous pre-orders or not, so they may very well do so. I guess we will find out more details in time. Plus, you can always ask him on Facebook

Couple of small ones real quick.. Castlevania by ResaurusResaurus had plans to release figures from Castlevania. Sculpts were well underway, but then Resaurus went out of business. The sculpts were never finished, and this is as far as they got. Fortunately, NECA brought us some Castlevania goodness, but I sure would love to have had these too. Dark Alliance by Eternal ToysI am a huge fan of the Chaos comic books and just as much a fan of the Dark Alliance figures released by Eternal Toys, which was a company specifically created for releasing Chaos Comics merchandise. We got 2 awesome series with several variants (just as Chaos liked to do with their covers) and here are a couple more planned variants. Unfortunately, Chaos (and thus Eternal toys) went bankrupt, and these figures were never released. A variant of lady Death was planned also, but I do not believe they ever released pics of that one. Now, Lady Death and the rest of the Chaos universe have been sold separately through the bankruptcy. Lady Death is still kicking... somewhat, but nothing is being done with the rest, which includes Evil Ernie and Purgatory. Shame. Cremator variant Vulnavia (a retool of Vandala)

^^^I am still really pissed they did not get to release this one. I think something got screwed up with the rights to this property. They were planning on some great stuff too. It was going to come with 2 bases, and the torso would fit on either one, depending on your preference.

Boo at Mezco for cancelling the Hobo Myers and Leatherface from TCM3. They put a lot of crap in their Cinema of Fear line. Finally we get some great sculpts from Jean St. Jean and they cancel on us.

Those unreleased serie2 Bladehunter figures should have been serie1. Same goes for the Warrior of the Zodiac series. Release cool toys first, and retailers might order the next series, because people usually want cool toys. Release shitty toys first, and retailers won't order the next series no matter how cool they look because nobody wants shitty looking toys.

^^^^^ I agree. There have been several lines that were prematurely cancelled because of shitty line-up decisions. Another great example is the House of the Dead figures. Series one, while fun, was absolutely nothing compared to the proposed series 2. But retailers did not order series 2, because series 1 sold so poorly.
Even today, I am kind of afraid of this. Some of the stuff NECA does has me on edge at times. Take the Gremlins series for example. The first series looks great, but the second series has the Phantom of the Opera Gremlins (who had al but 10 seconds of screen time) and the electric Gremlin. Those certainly are not the most iconic characters from the movie, but their sales determine the future of the line, and that makes me nervous.

If Judgment included a talking feature with phrases from the game it would be the greatest figure of all time. ;D

Time to look at some Stan Winston goodness.... It has already been mentioned before in this tread, but the one that hurt the most was probably the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. These figures (and many more) never made it past the prototype stage. Stan Winston made fantastic figures, but they were out of the norm in those days. Not only were they considerably more expensive compared to other figures in that time ($15 vs. $10, laughable now-a-days), but Toys R Us had exclusive rights to these figures. Why Stan thought that was a good idea, I'll never know. Unfortunately, Stan's figures were not great sellers at TrU, and they started ordering less and less figures. Because of this, Stan was trying to get out of the exclusive rights contract, as he thought TrU was cramping his style. This led to the now famous lawsuit between the two, and production was halted on all prototypes thus far. And there were quite a few. One of the victims of this lawsuit was the Extreme Gargoyles line. Though they were released, they are extremely rare and quite valuable. This rarity does not match up with even a short production run, and my theory is that some of the Gargoyles were put on shelves (though they were not supposed to, due to the lawsuit), but the majority is still sitting in some warehouse at TrU, and will likely never see the light of day. Stan ultimately was able to get one line (Blood Wolves) out for mass distribution with the help of NECA, but unfortunately, that was the end of Stan Winston Creatures. On to the pics...
